Great experience
I enjoyed the overall experience during my study. The platform was easy to navigate.
My assessor (Kim) was a wonderful person. She always respond promptly to my queries. Her continuous encouragement was a motivation for me.
However, i will suggest that learners are informed at the beginning of their course about options to choose either a research unit or module unit as i was made to pay additional cost for opting out of the research unit.

Thank you for your feedback. The way the optional units are chosen as standard is for all learners to complete the research project to obtain more credits minimising having to do many smaller units. In cases where a learner does not want it and are happy to do more smaller units they can speak to their Assessor, but most learners choose to do the research. Overall, i would say it’s a good system and with good reponse when a call is pulled to the office direct but i would say slow marking of my courses is one thing that was very frustrating

Thank you for your feedback, slow marking was a result of many learners not doing anything for months and when their course was about to expire they started submitting 5+ units at once, which affected Assessor's workload and marking turnaround for everyone. This is something we are working on with employers, learners and Assessors and have started seeing a lot of improvement from all sides. All the best

Great Learning Experience with i-Success Academy
The course is all inclusive and covers all areas of children residential care. The quality of resources available to student is topnotch. Feedback from tutors are honest and unbiased. However, there is need for tutors to be timely with their feedback when assignments are submitted. Overall, it was a great journey completing my Level 3 Diploma in Residential childcare with i-Success Academy.

We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed your experience with us. In relation to timely marking, this was caused by influx of submissions from learners when their course was about to expire, leading to heavy workload for Tutors and Assessors. Hence why we encourage learners from the onset to ensure timely submission so marking can be spread out in a timely way as well for everyone. We will keep working on making this better with all parties involved.

As for the questions we do not have control over that, as they are the knowledge criteria from the awarding body, we know they can be much at times, hence why we always recommend that learners plan their journey well and aim to complete some work every week so it does not become too much when everything is being done at once.

Level 5 leadership and management in Residential childcare
I completed my Level 5 leadership and management in Residential Childcare. It is the full qualification for children's home manager. Tutor support was good and they were happy to go at my pace so I was able to finish in 6 months. They were available by email should I need the support and the feedback was helpful when I needed to improve on my work.
