An exceptionally smooth and easy…

An exceptionally smooth and easy process. All staff, from Barnaby Grantham through to Hayley Ainsworth Lay in Completions and Jonathan Brown at Medway Law were professional, friendly and engaged. Communications were clear and easy to understand and the on line process was straightforward.

Where to start?!

Where to start?!

I decided to put my flat up for sale via Iamsold, because they dealt with my father’s estate. However, they’ve caused me no end of stress, frustration, and have already added to my existing mental health problems because of their poor practices.

They HOUNDED me, after I made a simple enquiry. I made it clear that I would go ahead when I was ready. I also made it clear that I only want to be contacted by email due to additional schedules and mental health conflicts. This was ignored multiple times. They continued to call, without following up by email, but ignored my emails.

Eventually, after the pre-auction pack was prepared, they appointed an agent. (This is nearly 2 months ago now). However, it took me nearly 3 weeks to get an answer as to why my property wasn’t on Rightmove. I was Ignored until I called. I finally raised a complaint, and was told that this particular agent doesn’t have access to Rightmove, so a new agent needs to be appointed. I was fuming! Why would you appoint an agent without checking this? Since then, they’ve changed their mind again and appointed another 2 agents. I gave them a week to get the property on the market and today, I was told they hadn’t received any communication from the new agent. I absolutely hit the roof and said that unless they provide substantial compensation for wasting my time, and adding more financial stress and mental health worries, I will be withdrawing.

Personally, I feel they should provide compensation regardless of if I stay with them for wasting my time. This is a disgusting way to treat customers. It’s coming up to 3 months since I first signed the contract, meaning, I can leave penalty free. However, they’ve wasted my time, and put us in further financial difficulty as a result.

Stay clear and go elsewhere.

Iamsold helped with MMA Process

Iamsold helped us through the process of Modern Method of Auction which we had not gone through previously. Their caseworker, Helen Noonan kept on top of the sale and was particularly helpful when the processs hit friction - firstly through the buyer having mortgage issues and then when there were holdups between the solicitors.

Lazy admin team

They were really lazy with communication, they sent me a Docusign and only called me 2 weeks later asking me to complete it

They also did an awful job with my auction pack, there was no option for me to send it to my solicitor so I had to fill out the form myself and it took me 35+ minutes

Nobody checked the form so there were loads of missing gaps and incorrect information about the year of lease on the building, they just make it a pdf once you complete it and charge you £495

my solicitor sent them all the other documents so they effectively did nothing
