IEnergy is a SCAM. Avoid at all costs.

Installation date agreed and postponed three times. Have now agreed to partial refund but still not forthcoming with no contact for over a month. Partial refund as IEnergy requested cost of survey is deducted despite leaflet through the door stating very clearly ‘Contact us to arrange a FREE NO OBLIGATION Survey’.

Currently engaged with legal process to recover full refund. Luckily we have all communications in writing and original leaflet in writing.

Been looking for batteries to add to my solar panels for a long time now.
Saw the advert wirh iSolar and though give them a try.
Great response to my enquiry and a very good price to supply and fit 10kw inverter and 2×5kw batteries.
Decided to go for it paid deposit and Olie electrician and assistant turned up about 10 days later.
Materials pre delivered great job.
Recommend iSolar to anyone looking for a good company.

I was approached by the tenant of a house I rent out
She is registered disabled and was told she was entitled to free solar panels and reduced bills by way of a government scheme
she's a lovely lady who I have known for a long time so I said yes
I am not a rich landlord im a working man who rents a pervious home out to save for my future
The company were quick to get in touch and sort the paperwork out and arrange the installation which was installed really well no issues
Unfortunately later in the year I visited the property to find pigeons nesting under the panels and on research found it is not a very good idea to allow this to continue as it could cause a fire, reduction in performance etc
I wasnt advised of this potential problem from the company at the time
Eventually after trying to get in touch the contact replied and said they would look into helping to resolve the problem by installing pest netting or similar if I got a quote
which I thought was really good of them as I didn't feel that after being sold a product that is pushed by by the government to reduce our impact on the environment that I would incur future costs to myself to protect the product they installed
The cost is over £400 which other quotes said £700 +
I have done previous reviews and being asked to remove them otherwise they couldn't action the payment this game has been playing out for a couple of months this review will not be removed until its resolved
Think very carefully before signing upto a government grant where new companies are set up to milk the system with no regulation to protect you if problems arise
My Dad is going through a similar problem with a government backed roofing grant which has been bodged
My tenant has spoken to the citizens advise and it sounds like its a country wide problem
I take no joy from having to leave bad reviews but im not accepting ongoing costs from a problem not of my making

IEnergy obtained funding in my name under the ECO4 scheme for new solar panels and loft insulation, I also paid an additional £2250 for a battery converter. Despite agreeing an installation date of 21.04.2026 they didn’t turn up and didn’t contact me. After 3 days of trying to call them they gave me another installation date of 25.05.2026, I expressed to them I doubted if this was true as it was bank holiday Monday. I heard nothing from them afterwards so today I called them to confirm and got no reply from their office phone or mobile – I received a text to say they were working on arranging my installation for next week, despite me believing this had been booked in for nearly 3 weeks. I said I wanted someone to call me by end of business to confirm or I would keep calling, at which point both office phone and mobile were clearly switched to voicemail. Don’t go near this company I don’t believe they intend to fulfil their contracts and have now complained to Ofgem and to my local MP. I have also asked IEnergy to refund the monies I paid directly but I don’t hold out hope of getting this back. The ECO4 scheme has now been extended but I expect a number of people are in my position, left without installation and unable to switch to another contractor. I hope by complaining I can ensure they get no more funding from any other Government backed schemes. I can see by the IEnergy we sure they are already advertising another government backed scheme.

We had solar panels and storage heaters installed under the eco4 scheme via ienergy, From the first contact, to brian coming to do the survey we were really looked after and the communication was superb, the electricians were really professional and tidy, I cannot recommend them highly enough not to mention how grateful we are as this has greatly improved our quality of life.

I had a leaflet through the door and within no time at all I had a survey loft insulation storage heaters and solar panels at no cost due to a heart operation. George and Rico the fitters were just great. Highly recommended all round

Had a leaflet through for ienergy regarding the grant scheme, I had registered with the council about a year prior and never heard anything from them other than you will have to wait. Brian and Zoe came out and were really easy to speak to explained everything and within weeks I had fitters coming out to install. Everything was really smooth and quick, I was able to contact Brian whenever needed and he always did his best to help. Fantastic company would definitely recommend. George and riko the electricians were also super polite and answered any questions and worked with me on where stuff could go rather than just putting it where was easiest

I had solar panels, storage heaters and loft insulation fitted 2 weeks ago, all under the government eco scheme. The guys that did the panels and heaters were great. They went over and above to help me with an electrical problem. Would definitely recommend using them

I had a cold call from Brian about the eco4 boiler replacement, we had tge survey a few says later, 3 days after that we got notificationbof approval, the new baxi boiler was installed the following day. Our gas use has dropped to just 45pence per day, I am more than happy with the service, Brian is a lovely guy, honest and trustworthy.

Firstly, I tried to apply to the Eco4 scheme with other tradesmen, but they wasted my time and took ages to get the ball rolling. These guys called me the day after I applied to them and got my installation booked in for the next week!

The workmen turned up on time and were very efficient. They did an amazing job and even changed an unused fused spur to a socket for me. Everything was very done neatly and they cleaned up well after. Highly recommend! All done under the Eco4 scheme, so for free

Sam did an excellent job. Fitted high quality heating equipment to a high standard. Working around my awkward property. I was particularly impressed how he didn’t rush and ended up working an extra day than he’d planned to get the job done properly. Highly recommended!

Great experience with Sam & Tom! Installed first time central heating which Inc boiler and rads.
They were respectful of my home, kept us informed, made us laugh at times (you know why lol) and just decent lads.
Sam did a great job in putting my mind at ease as I suffer with anxiety and also making sure it looked aesthetically pleasing in its location (no bodge job) I would 100% recommend Sam to do your install!! Left everything of an evening tidy. Thanks!

Ali of IEnergy has been very professional in installing solar panels, internal wall insulation and heaters in a number of my flats. He has done everything from applying for the ECO4 grants, liaising with tenants and the installation. Would recommend.

All the staff that I dealt with were friendly and professional, the guys who install the different items were polite and tidied up each time. This was all arranged through our landlord and myself.

After receiving some information on the energy grants, I managed to get in touch with iEnergy. From the beginning of going over how I qualify - to booking in a survey, it was very quick and easy. I was however sceptical at the beginning, of the scheme, but when the surveyor came round, they were able to answer and explain how the scheme worked and what exactly they would be doing.
From the survey, within 1-2weeks I had work done, first it was my loft and then I had a new heat source alongside solar panels installed. The process of installation and explanation again from the installers was brilliant. I couldn't be happier with what's been done in the property and would just like to thank lEnergy. It's definitely helped me and the property.

Sam and Tom did a marvellous job installing a new boiler and first time central heating radiators in to my bungalow . Efficient and very communicative and patient. Excellent job and I cannot fault them . They had a very very difficult job removing a warm wire heating system that was as old as the Ark but took it all out no problem . Highly recommended company . Thankyou !!

As i am under the threshold for pay living alone this work was all done for free, solar panels and storage heaters all round the house. Done in a day great work
