Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage! They do not keep the items cool. Lid does not lock or stay shut! Customer service is not helpful. I need to file a dispute. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Not worth the inconvenience

I had ordered two items. One was going to be a birthday gift for somebody. I received my order in the eta but what I received was not what I purchased. I contacted customer service. They had to send me a label, then I have to go to a FedEx location to ship it back which is a major inconvenience. I needed the gift. Definitely my last igloo purchase online or anywhere else

Igloo coolers are no longer a staple.

So I just purchased a new igloo, cooler, a roto molded cooler. That is supposed to keep ice for 7 days. This is false by far the latches don't hold the lid down tight. And it keeps ice for maybe three days this is a far stretch from 7 days. I won't be buying another one that's for sure. We purchased this cooler for Mother's Day weekend. I bought it on Friday. Put ice in it immediately.And the ice was melted by sunday.

DAMAGED FINGERS

WHEN YOU LOWER THE HANDLE IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR FINGERS. IT CAUSED THE NAIL TO TURN BLACK FROM PINCHING THE END OF MY FINGER!!!

Bad Service & No Replacement Parts

I have a few of their 6 gallon water container and lost one spout plus some of the seals are worn down.

After contacting them they said no spare parts available or for sale.

Which means if you invested in their products you are loosing all your money cause it's impossible to maintain them.

Really bad company...

I ordered a cup It came dented they were going to send me a replacement cup and they sent me their totally wrong and different style cup and then they want me to return it and never got me right cup and it was $30. No1 knows what they are doing strongly suggest order somewhere else

Don't buy Igloo Maxcold with plastic Latch

Don't purchase Igloo 50Lt Maxcold with Plastic Latch.
The plastic Latch does NOT last more than one or two uses. They will not replace with the Metal one under Warranty, so you have to either accept another plastic one, which will break again, likely after the Warranty has expired or 'Purchase' a replacement metal one yourself!

Don’t know if or when my order will…

Don’t know if or when my order will ship but unable to cancel the order. My credit card has been charged already. If I return the order (if it ever ships) it will still cost me money. After many years and many Igloo coolers purchased from retailers, this is likely my last dollars and recommendations Igloo will get from me.
Edit to add: Cooler was finally delivered. I have already purchased a different cooler (since the ship date on this one was unknown). Igloo is charging me $5.99 to return it to them. It's sad that a product/company I loved and recommended so much is now something I absolutely cannot recommend to anyone.

Aweful!

If I could give no stars absolutely would. We have had our cooler for a couple weeks, the lid came off going down the road which as much as it cost should have a better way to secure the lid. Trying to purchase a replacement lid and unable to do some because they are out if stock with no date insight of when they will have any available. Upon reading other reviews it seems they have not had any replacement lids in stock in years. It's ridiculous to spend this much money for a cooler and not be able to get any help to remedy this so that we can actually use it.

The worst agency ever

The worst agency ever. We wanted to buy a house, but they didn't gave us to chance. We had got 15 minutes only to see the big house, couldn't check anything propertly, so we asked about few things. They ingnored our questions. As it was other person interested about this property, they said there is no one else interested about that property and seller accepted that offer. I assume that the reason is not our nationality but lack of professionalism

Will never buy a igloo cooler again…

I don’t know what wrong with my cooler bought the most expensive one they had at the dollar store . Just got to work at 8am put a bag of ice in it it’s 10am and the ice is all melted it’s in a climate controlled storage room

Denied their Promotion!

I ordered a Retro Cooler during the Promo for a Free Jug to come with any purchase of the retro collection. Upon it being delivered it did not come with the jug. I was told “I hadn’t selected the option to include the jug when checking out”… why would a customer not want the free product in the promo?! That’s why I bought it.. and customer service laughed at me when I asked if I can still get one as it clearly applied to my order.. I even offered to pay to have it shipped! VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Terrible cooler

Terrible cooler! Purchased at Dick’s Sporting Goods for $170. Warm days, it will only hold ice for a matter of hours. On camping trip now, cloudy, rainy over-cast 50 and below temps and ice has melted in less than 24 hours. Igloo quality is not what it used to be!

Terrible Customer Service

Purchased a replacement part and then immediately realized I’d ordered the wrong part. The item (of course) had not shipped, yet they refused to cancel the order, despite their website saying they were closed for inventory and would resume shipping in several days. The guy I spoke to on phone didn’t even pretend to care. Very disappointing. I’ll never buy from them again.

I would rate zero stars if possible

I would rate zero stars if possible.

I signed up online & even went along with texts where they bombarded me with coolers & things i was not even remotely interested in.

I've ordered several times in the past with zero issues. Then recently after i called customer service to see what happened to my order i was told "sometimes there are glitches." Apparently the orders don't go through all the way & ḍo not process.
Then when i asked what is the advantage of signing up for all this was worth & stated my discontent the smug cheeky ass hung up on me.

So be sure to check & recheck 2 or 3 times even after you get confirmation that you're Actually GETTING WHAT the site CLAIMS YOU DID!

Buyer beware.

Poor quality for the price. 70qt Trailmate Journey for…

I bought the 70qt Trailmate Journey for my husband. I was hesitant at first because of the price. Once I received the cooler I was pleased with the appearance and couldn’t wait to use it. First I noticed the lid wouldn’t close all the way. I thought maybe “ too much ice” but I quickly realized a design flaw. This cooler has a wire that connects the lid to the actual inside of the cooler to prevent hyperextending the lid. Great! Right? No because the screw used to hold in said wire prevents the lid from seating properly ( even dents the underneath of lid where it hits the screw). I thought oh surely someone just placed it wrong so I called to exchange. Here’s where it really goes south. Once I received my replacement and opened box I quickly realized this was a used maybe “refurbished” cooler. It was dented on back top corner, had some sort of white glue around trim on top, was missing both fishing pole holders, wheels looked used, the screw that held the left wheel was hanging out so once I took it out of box the wheel hung down, but worst of all it had the same issue with the lid. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Took about 3 weeks to receive

Took about 3 weeks to receive. Not too bad considering they are in Florida and I'm in California. However it arrived with a large crack in the lid. Looks to me like this was caused in manufacturing. The screw seems to have been tightened too much. With that said 3 weeks was too long to wait for something to arrive damaged.

I immediately sent photos to the email requesting assistance. I also noticed an email notifying me of the 4th of July . The ice chest I purchase less than 30 days and received the day the sale started was now reduced 50. I requested an adjustment for the sale . I even noted I would accept an Igloo credit since I wanted to purchase the smaller version of this chest during the sale. Waited 3 days no response to the email. Finally gave in and called. It was actually easy to get someone on the phone. No waiting 45 minutes to get a person. They agreed to send me a replacement, but they no longer had the color I really wanted. So I settled for a color I wasn't in love with. Had they actually bothered to respond to my email the color I had originally selected would have still been available. I checked the website the day I submitted the email and it still showed as available. Then when I requested the p
adjustment the manager said " we don't do that here. You purchased it on June 20th and it wasn't on sale. So that's the price you get". I said ok, why wouldn't I just request a refund since you sent me damaged product and repurchase at the sale price? Manager " sure go ahead and ship the item back and once we receive it we'll refund you". So now I'm really annoyed. Especially since they would have received an additional purchase from me and I already accepting a two hundred and twenty dollar product that wasn't exactly what I wanted to begin with and who knows how long it will take to receive the replacement. I have now requested to speak to a different manager. Apparently the manager's supervisor isn't working on a Friday. He says she will return my call. I asked when. Manager " I don't know, maybe tomorrow, Maybe Monday. I requested the supervisors email. He said " she doesn't have an email. I think we all know that's a lie. So it's now 11:00 am on Monday and I still have not received a call back or an email.

Before this all took place I recommended my parent's also purchase this product during the sale. Now none of us will be purchasing Igloo product ever again due to this experience. Which is unfortunate because the chest has good reviews and I spent a ton of time researching beforehand. I also wanted to purchase some of the ice blocks. My primary choice was actually a Patriot brand cooler, but they're sold out. So now Igloo has lost an initial three hundred dollars worth of additional sales between myself and my parents and any future transactions because they refused to price adjust and credit me fifty.

Had I not already received a damaged item and was forced to accept a color I didn't want I wouldn't be nearly as irritated that they wouldn't price adjust. I would think since their customer was already having a negative experience that they would have made an exception and provided the adjustment, but Nope.

They are also supposed to email me a return shipping label because they want their damaged product back. That's not inconvenient at all. I would love to drive out of my way to drop this big ass box off at a FedEx location and still not receive an adjustment. FYI I don't live anywhere near a FedEx. I drive a V8 and gas is currently about four dollars and twenty five cents a gallon in California. So now this is costing me money on top of everything.

If you love bad service then I highly recommend this product. Oh wait, that's not true. I haven't tested it yet since I can't use the one I received. Sure would have been nice to have for my 4th of July camping trip...

Also the guidelines for this review restrict you from posting negative service reviews. Interesting, they don't want people to know how they treat people.
