Exceptional Customer Service
Our Imagine Cruising holiday is just 9 weeks away, with flights originally scheduled from Brisbane via Doha to Madrid. Given the current situation in the Middle East, like many travellers, I reached out to explore alternative options.
I want to give a huge shoutout to Bek, who went above and beyond to rearrange our flights from Qatar Airways to British Airways—completely avoiding the Middle East and at no extra cost. The turnaround was incredible: a resolution within 36 hours of my enquiry, and updated documentation just 12 hours after I accepted the change.
I can only imagine how busy the team must be right now, managing so many enquiries as travellers navigate their upcoming holidays.
This is our second trip with Imagine Cruising, and it’s often when things don’t go to plan that you truly see how good a company is. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.

booked through Imagine on Holland America August Voyage had a very professional booking service provided by Viran most of the data provided except the very necessary IMZ No.
After that I was prompted by Holland to Log on to their Navigator App to complete booking for embarkation updates and digital boarding pass and thats when it all turned to a nightmare with the app telling me any electronic device was incompatible. After two days of absolute waste of time I found salvation. I was rescued by Dana at nz customer support. Imagine, be proud and grateful for having staff as good as this. The experience was both professional,all links provided, all flight and cruise references provided ,and the additional information first class. HAL be thankful you have staff like this at imagine backing you up. Imagine a bonus and a bunch of flowers for dana is in order.

Compassionate help
I reluctantly had to cancel my forthcoming holiday due to my husband’s decline in health and was referred to Harrison who talked me through the process . He advised that a cancellation invoice would be issued of which I would need to forward to the Insurance company to claim. He treated me with compassion and lifted my spirits . I recently undertook a Golden Triangle Tour of India through Imagine Holidays. The group had the good fortune to have GAURAV DHUPAR appointed as our guide for our tour.
GAURAV's knowledge of his country, his willingness to share this knowledge with the group and ensure the group viewed all the wonderful sites, e.g. Taj Mahal and Amber Fortress at the most favourable times.
He has a delightful sense of humour, ensured the welfare of all the group throughout the tour and would rate his overall commitment to ensure each group member thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in on tour as exceptional.
I consider Gaurav a great asset to Imagine Holidays.

Azamara Pursuit Cruise with India Golden Triangle
Our first time booking with Imagine Cruising, the Australian office, and the team were so very helpful and knowledgeable during the initial process.
All transfers, hotels, Azamara Pursuit experience and tour was very well planned and all worked seamlessly. Then the Golden Triangle Tour, that was the most amazing experience in all our years of travel!
Our tour guide, Gaurav Dhupar, was first class. His knowledge and humour gave us all an unforgettable experience. Nothing was too much trouble for him, always willing to answer any questions too. We had such a great time with the group of 15 on the bus, very pleased we didn't opt for the private tour. The hotels in Agra and Jaipur were excellent, the one in New Delhi was good enough. The bus driver and his helper were also excellent, always greeted us with a smile and most helpful getting on and off the bus as well. Wonderful trip!!

First Time in India's Golden Triangle.
My wife and I had not been to India before and the Golden Triangle Tour was only one component of a Imagine Cruising trip that included time on Mauritius, a cruise visiting the Maldives, Kerala (southern India), Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Singapore, and the Golden Triangle. The whole trip was incredible but we have chosen to highlight our time in India's north because we saw so much and learnt so much. This was largely due to our guide, Gaurav. His knowledge included an incredibly broad range of subjects relating to life in India today and it's past history. This knowledge was delivered in a gentile, calm manner but with a quirky sense of humour. It was not just an educational experience, it was fun. Thankyou Gaurav. You greatly enhanced our understanding and appreciation of India, especially Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and the country in between. Thank you for sharing your region with us.

We have always found representatives from Imagine Cruising to be very helpful. We had another holiday booked for February 2026, but due to my husband contacting an illness we had to cancel. Not knowing the procedure of what to do, we contacted Imagine Cruising and spoke to Harrison who was very helpful and achieved a very good outcome for us. As we have travel Insurance which is very necessary in these circumstances we can put a claim for the balance. Thanks so much Harrison for your advice.

Just to clarify what you mentioned in your review, when we receive a holiday change request such as yours there may be non-refundable elements on your current reservation. When that is the case, there is an additional cost to make the holiday change to a different departure date. This is always quoted for our passengers on a case-by-case basis, and I am again disappointed to hear your specific departure and request came in at such a relatively high cost.

Very unhelpful staff, a bad experience
Once I had booked and paid Imagine Cruising for a cruise / fly package, I was disappointed that their staff were unwilling to provide even minor assistance with the booking without significant further payment.
Imagine Cruising appear to consider they act as “agent” for the airlines and hotels rather than as a traditional travel agent who looks after their clients.
Their involvement in making the bookings prevents their clients talking to airlines and hotels directly to resolve minor issues and, if Imagine Cruising get involved, you’ll pay significantly more than if you had made a direct booking.
It was impossible to communicate with Imagine Cruising's representative who seemed unable to write basic English, eg "The cost is included is compromised Qatar's change fee, our change fee and any are and tax difference." (whatever that was meant to mean), and dishonestly stated that there was a "Fare and Tax Difference $350 pp" although the airline site shows the alternative is actually cheaper.
Overall a bad experience - if you think booking through Imagine Cruising would simplify your trip, be aware that they will turn even the simplest of alterations into an expensive (ie extra profit for them) drama.
