I love a good Kmart deal BUT when it comes to swimming and feeling confident and comfortable in the pool, I am so grateful that I found Instant Swim on my tiktok FYP. For months and months I was looking for my ideal training swimmers and I tried all the "big brands" and none of them fit all of my wants or needs. Not only is Instant Swim aesthetic and makes me feel confident, their swimmers also fit all of my practical requirements. I am forever converted!!

I received my order December 29th and then requested a refund Jan 4th because of some loose threading on the swimsuits. After my return request was submitted, a couple days later it said my label was generated. However, when I went to go retrieve the label it just had a continuous loading sign and never generated. I reached out to support, they instructed me to wait.

A few days later they manually emailed me a label assuring me that I would still receive a refund even if it happened to be outside the window because this was a technical error on their end and NOT MY FAULT. Now they have issued me a $140 gift card which I refused, because I had every intention of making sure it was returned within the window, but because of their techcnial difficulties, it went past it. I spent $220.80 USD and expect to have it refunded to my credit card as is fair. If not, I have no issue using my social media platforms to let everyone know exactly what kind of company this is and how it truly doesn’t care about its customers, in addition to filing a dispute with my credit card.

Absolutely love these swim suits, the fit is perfect I love that they have the tall option, I find they’re not too cheeky and perfect for swimming! I haven’t done any extensive swimming in them but some ocean swims and pool swims and have not had a problem! I love the colours and the design :)

Delivery slow. Customer service non-existent. Swimsuits very average. Need to do much, much better to be contenders in an already competitive market.

Unfortunately the size guidelines were not very true to size so when I tried the costume on it felt ok but the first time I wore it in water it rode up and was really uncomfortable. I did try to raise this with the company but they refused to exchange and just told me to buy another size

The swimsuit I ordered in my usual size M was way too tight when it arrived. I exchanged if for a size L after carefully looking at their size guides. It fit well - until I wore it in the water and it became so loose and baggy that I had to get out of the pool.
After some back and forth with customer services, they kindly agreed to exchange for a size M again.

The fabric of the swimsuit is lovely and thick and it does feel tight to the skin when dry (probably because it contains Spandex). It does stretch in water so bear this in mind when ordering and trying it on when dry.

I don’t understand the negative reviews on here. I have worn Instant swimsuits for years now, I swim regularly and the quality always holds up even when I was triathlon training this year. I have about 8 different suits now and I always find them super comfortable and supportive even as someone with a bigger cup size, especially the tie backs especially and adjustable straps. I have never had issues with colour fading fast or bobbling so maybe down to the way it’s looked after.

I too fell for the social media hype and beautiful design only to be almost £70 shorter and no swimsuit to use. As per some honest reviews before this suit DOES NOT HOLD IN PLACE. O ordered my usual size ( I'm middle aged) and by the end of my training session (3-4K) it was flapping about around my backside leaving me uncovered at every flip turn. Horrible cut- would need twice the bum to fill the space. The material gives in way too much and slows you down. No response from customer service. Very disappointed. What a rubbish swimsuit.
EDIT: the head of communication reaches out to me to discuss my experience and she has been really helpful. She sent me a one size smaller suit to try free of charge- I haven't tried yet but will update accordingly. I have tried it on and I must say the the smaller one is comfortable enough. I would struggle to pull on this size in other brands so I think I definitely runs big. I am middle aged and 5'8, average body shape

I purchased a £70 swimsuit which developed significant bobbling after only two wears. It was only ever used in water and hand-washed exactly as instructed, yet the fabric deteriorated almost immediately. For a premium-priced swimsuit, this is simply not acceptable.

When I contacted customer service, they dismissed the issue as “contact damage,” despite there having been no contact with any abrasive surface. They provided no evidence to show that the garment wasn’t inherently faulty, and ignored the fact that a swimsuit should be reasonably durable, as required under Section 9 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Because the fault appeared well within six months, Section 19(14) of the CRA presumes the issue was present at the time of sale unless the retailer can prove otherwise. Instead of addressing this legal requirement, they claimed “no other issues had been reported,” which is not evidence and does not meet their statutory burden of proof.

They also stated that “a significant amount of time has passed,” which is inaccurate. Consumers have up to six years (five in Scotland) to raise a claim for faulty goods. My issue arose within a few months.

Overall, I’ve been left with a poorly made £70 swimsuit and a company unwilling to acknowledge clear consumer rights. Extremely disappointing quality and unhelpful customer service. I won’t be purchasing from them again.

I've bought from Instant Swim a couple of times, and I am obsessed with their swimsuits! They are so flattering; my first one lasted me 18 months of full-time swim training (~3-4 times a week for 2 hours) before the elastic started to stretch, which, in my opinion, is amazing for a training suit. They also double as cute suits for summer holidays. I have nothing but positive experiences with the brand and would recommend 100% over trying one of their suits and supporting a small business with such a fun outlook on swim training !! We all deserve to feel cute while wearing a cap and goggles !!!

I’m a competitive swimmer and am very disappointed with this swimming costume. When I saw in the website that it had said something like ‘perfect for competitive swimmers that want to look good’ I thought this was going to be a great purchase. I have just finished my first session of wearing this suit and I am so disappointed. It was a perfect fit on land, but as soon as it touched the water it went baggy and was stressful to swim in. It filled with water and I had to keep readjusting the straps and the bottom part of the swimsuit. It caused a lot of water resistance and was extremely hard to swim in: Overall terribly disappointed with this brand.

Did not specify that taxes needed to be payed separately, now on top of the already expensive swimsuit, I payed even more in taxes and duties, and I Paysed for shipping. This is ridiculous, and they should've made it more aware for people.

To be honest I am very disappointed with the quality considering how expensive these swim suits are. The colours have completely faded and the suit has become see through don’t think it will last much longer - only had it a few months and used probably once a week in a costume rotation. I also bought two scrunchies have fallen to bits. If you plan on swimming regularly in this suit don’t waste your money

I subscribed only a matter of days ago to get the 10% signing up discount and already I've had about 6 marketing emails. Stop clogging up my inbox!!!! I've unsubscribed and won't be ordering. Plus, it annoys me that all swimsuits full price are £70 but for free delivery you need to spend £90. Returns aren't free either which is ridiculous when swimsuit sizes are so hard to get right.
Wanted to order one but won't be.

I loved my Instant Swim Karma swimsuit when it arrived. But as it was a birthday gift September 24 I only used it a few times for sea swimming, then not at all over the winter.
When I got it out to use again in June 25, I noticed the back straps were wearing through, although the rest of the costume had no sign of wear.
I contacted customer services and was told that because of the length of time since purchase, I was not entitled to a replacement. However, I strongly believe that any swimsuit should last at least a year of infrequent use, let alone one at this price point.
I am very disappointed that the company did not see fit to replace what is clearly a faulty product, as it is not fit for purpose. They claimed they had never come across this problem before, so I would have thought as a goodwill gesture they would offer a replacement, not the 20% off a new purchase they offered. I will not be buying another one.
I have never had this happen to a swimsuit before, it was clean and stored dry, and had only light use.

NB: the straps had not been cut. The tears were clearly ragged.

I found this brand from a swim friend .I love swimming and i search everyhting about it so i took a look on this brand and i really love it.I did a purchase and i was very happy with the quality and the colors of the products.The shipping very very fast!!I bought the Seren swimsuit a pair of googles and a scrunchie.All of them perfect!A brand who loves really the sport of swimming is instant swim!!Keep up the good work!!

I placed an pre- order with a dispatch date of 29th May. I had planned to take the swimsuit on holiday with me (leaving 14 June, so over 2 weeks after the dispatch date). The order was not dispatched and they did not communicate at all to say it was delayed. I followed up the following week and they said the items were delayed and they'd be arriving with them on 5th June. I followed up again on 6th June and I was told they were arriving in their warehouse 'sometime the following week'. This is despite them clearly posting on their instagram about '300 orders' going out the previous day. I repeatedly explained I'd ordered for a planned holiday and they refused to give me a specific day that the swimsuit would be arriving and they ignored several messages on instagram. They are really difficult to deal with via email and instagram. They are unhelpful and push the problem on to the customer. They did not provide any updates except when I was chasing. They've claimed the items are held up at customs, however I think if this were the case it would be normal to expect that they would send out regular updates to customers who had pre ordered. Overall a really poor experience, would not recommend using them.

Returning from Poland costs £30 – almost a third of the suit’s price. Between the high delivery and return costs, it feels like I’ve paid nearly the full price of the suit just to try it on. Disappointed to be paying for both the delivery and the return.
