Buenas tardes, me alegro ver esto en mi correo aunque tarde, la compañía de seguro Insubuy me ha quedado muy mal, las 2 veces que mi hija usó el seguro pagando la mensualidad, no quisieron reconocer el costo médico que a ustedes le correspondía y ahora tengo un problema con el hospital que me está cobrando un montón de dinero que le correspondía a ustedes.
Deberían de responder cuando uno los llama y ser más responsables al asumir las cuentas.
Tengo muy mal sabor con esta empresa.
NO LOS RECOMIENDO PORQUE ESTARÍA HACIENDO UN DAÑO A OTRAS PERSONAS.

Queremos aclarar un punto importante, ya que parece haber una confusión comprensible. Insubuy es un corredor de seguros independiente, no la compañía de seguros en sí. Policy for indian parents

Just bought 5 months policy for my in laws vising usa from india.It is hassle free experience to buy policy and very user friendly.Hope the service is would be great( oray not to get a chance to use it and they stay heqlthy during this visit)..

No benefits received so far.

So far, I was only able to pay for the insurance service, I didn't use any medical services yet though. Therefore I don't know whether all the offered services are actually provided when needed. However, the insurance policy documentation was provided quickly.

Great insurance

Great insurance! The only thing I would add to their service is the option of that I could get insurance for more than one month and then have the option to pay it monthly

We're so happy you're satisfied with your insurance. Please note, we offer plans with many different coverage availability windows from 5 days to 2 years or more. Many plans are also extendable, meaning you do not have to purchase coverage monthly.

Surego customer service and claims dept. are incompetent

I first emailed the required documentation for my claim on 2/1/26 but my pictures were "not clear enough". I then faxed my documents on 2/5/26 and emailed 2/5/26 to give them the heads up that I faxed the documents over and asked them to confirm that they received them, no response. I called two weeks later to confirm that my claim was being processed and the lady said she couldn't see the claim in the system and to give it a week and call back. Called back 3/3/26 and my claim was still not being processed. I then reached out to Insubuy to see how they could help facilitate the claim being processed and only after getting a Manager involved Surego decided to respond and tell me that only 1 page of the 16 page fax was received. It took 33 days from when I faxed in the documents in for Surego to tell me that they only received 1 page. To even get the response 33 days later took multiple calls to Insubuy and multiple calls and emails to Surego for them to finally let me know.
I then emailed my documents as a PDF and a day or so after sending on 3/12/26 Surego acknowledged they received my clam and gave me a claim number.
Surego then emailed 3/19/26 requesting outstanding documents? They wanted "Proof of medical expense payments.". Although I already included all receipts that I referenced in the claim I submitted. In my claim submission I even included my unrine, blood and feces testing results from when I was hospitalized. I literally included everything but the kitchen sink in what I sent. I then reached back out to the Insubuy Manger I have been dealing with to help from here again as Surego staff is clearly too incompetent to do the job themself. Surego is the absolute worst and unprofessional "business" (if you could call it that) and I would advise anyone reading this to seek travel insurance elsewhere. Finally, on 2/7/26 I received my reimbursement check which was by the way under $100. Throughout the process it felt like they were trying to wear me down and get me to give up on getting my less than $100 reimbursement.

I do want to clarify that Insubuy is an independent insurance marketplace, not the insurance company or claims administrator. While we help customers compare and purchase visitors insurance plans, the claims themselves are reviewed, processed, and reimbursed directly by the insurance company or plan administrator, and they make all final decisions. That said, you should never feel unsupported, and we take concerns like this very seriously.

Even though we cannot control the claims process, we can step in to help facilitate communication, look into delays, and guide you on next steps, including the appeals process if it applies to your situation. We’d really like the chance to do that for you.
