I want to share my honest experience…
I want to share my honest experience with an integrative health program I enrolled in, because I wish someone had told me this before I signed up.
I went in expecting a deep education in integrative and functional health—things like foundational principles, broader supplement knowledge, and exposure to multiple approaches including herbal and Chinese medicine.
What I personally experienced was a program that leaned heavily on pre-built protocols and specific supplement recommendations tied to one brand. Instead of learning how to independently evaluate and build protocols from a wide range of tools, much of the training centered around following a structured system.
That doesn’t mean it won’t work for some people—but it was very different from what I expected when I enrolled.
If you’re considering a program like this, I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about:
• How much of the curriculum is foundational education vs. protocol-based
• Whether multiple supplement brands and approaches are taught
• How much independent clinical reasoning you’ll actually develop
Just sharing my experience so you can make an informed decision.
