Attended a gin and vermouth night hosted by Gnina of In The Loop Drinks. Had a great evening making 3 different cocktails, all made with gin and vermouth, but each very different. Would recommend!

We saw these vermouths originally in…
We saw these vermouths originally in the National Trust shop at Standen. We are keen to support UK business, and it helps that these are excellent products. Now our choice for negroni etc etc, but also as a drink on its own (formerly fans of Spanish vermut).

Great drinks; bad packaging
The drinks are absolutely delicious. Thank you.
You lose a star for the packaging: not many reputable firms still pack using such resolutely unrecyclable material as the peculiar ?expanded polystyrene squiggle-shaped beads, which also slightly marked the bottles they surrounded. And there were a lot of beads because the gift boxes were far too large for the bottles inside; and the boxes weren't sturdy enough to reuse.

Just wanted to say that those squiggle-shaped beads are called eco-flo chips. They're made of starch- if you run them under the tap they'll dissolve, which is also why sometimes they stick to the bottles if there's been some condensation during transit, so apologies for that. We should really start putting a little card in the boxes though or something to explain what they are.
The boxes are made from recycled and FSC card, and I was hesitant to use too much packaging hence why they're a little on the thin side. Again maybe I should put this information on a little card or something to explain the thinking.
Anyway, thanks again for the feedback and I really mean that. It is genuinely helpful.
