Intus Healthcare Avis 

Although I can't comment on the quality of Intus Healthcare's products, I can say that I am highly impressed by their customer service. Due to errors made by Royal Mail, my parcel didn't arrive; within 24 hours of notifying Intus Healthcare that I didn't receive what I'd ordered, they had responded by giving me a full refund. I believe that evidence of a company's integrity is shown when something goes wrong and they respond with the best interests of the customer at the forefront; Intus Healthcare did the right thing by me and, as a result, I will always consider their products first in the future.

I bought a Mandibular Advancement Device because I've been waiting over 2 years for a sleep apnoea assessment and my snoring has got so bad my partner can't sleep in the same room as me (and I'm a woman btw!). I don't really want a CPAP if I can avoid it so I thought I'd give this thing a go. I bought the slightly more expensive one at just over £100 as it looked a bit less bulky than the cheaper one. Well, I'm not going to lie, this thing is enormous. It's like wearing two big sports gumshields at once; your jaw is parted and your lips can't close. But that's kind of the point, it has to stop your soft pallette from collapsing. There are several bands so you can adjust how pushed forward your jaw needs to be to stop you snoring. I started on the biggest band, ie my jaw is barely advanced at all, just parted from the bulk of the gumshield and held in place ie can't collapse back when I sleep. I started for just a few hours a night because just getting used to this thing in your mouth takes some work and it makes your jaw and teeth tender at first. It's been a little over a week and I'm up to a full night now, waking up with it still in. And I'm amazed to report that my snoring has completely stopped! My partner actually can't believe that something so simple has actually worked, it's nothing short of miraculous. I'm not feeling the full benefit of undisturbed sleep yet because I'm still having weird dreams about having something in my mouth but I am getting more used to it every night and I think I'll feel fine in no time. It does make your teeth feel extremely weird when you first take it out: your jaw is misaligned so your usual bite doesn't match up which is a horrifying feeling at first. But just stretch your jaw a wee bit and it goes back to normal. I have a dentist appointment today and I'm going to check it's not pushing my teeth out of alignment but assuming that's ok then it's well worth persevering with the slight discomfort of wearing a gumshield to be a person who sleeps quietly without snoring again!

I found the Intus sleep study service straightforward and convenient to arrange. The instructions for using the WatchPAT device were clear, and the test itself was easy to complete at home.
The report was provided promptly and clearly explained the finding of mild obstructive sleep apnoea. It was also useful to have the AHI, ODI, oxygen saturation and Epworth score set out clearly.
I have now forwarded the report to my respiratory consultant as part of my wider respiratory investigation. I was pleased with the convenience of being able to have the test privately and at a significantly lower cost than having it arranged through a hospital.

Brilliant customer service. Unfortunately I had to return the items but the helpfulness of the staff can't be overstated. 5 star reviews fully deserved. I hope they start stocking the memory foam masks, because I would rather buy worry-free from Intus than anyone else.

Intus excels in this area. In particular, Dan was very proactive in spotting that I had called just before the business opened and called me back and quickly fixed an issue. Kloe has been exceptional in her explanations, support and encouragement which I have appreciated.
A great company that deserves to do well.
The kit also functions very effectively and has changed my life! Delivery has always been fast.
