I have had one issue which I had to get…
I have had one issue which I had to get some assistance with, Ipswitch professional worked me through the issue very quickly. Not that it was fun but the professional almost made it fun and it was enjoyable to learn something new.

While I like WUG, the support training and available training needs a great deal of improvement!

Tech Support = 0
Could not fix a polling problem. After tech support gave up on the problem, I ran the installer again and it worked.
Upgrade from Major Versions = 0
Wasted over 40 hrs on 2017 upgrade only to roll back to 2016. Not sure I want to ever try 2018.
Ten years ago I would have given it a 5.
Questioning why we pay for support after the 2017 disaster.

Do not buy this if you want to know if your stuff is working
There is a bug that's been affecting us for quite a while, whereby we get a flurry of 'false' down messages at seemingly random times. We've been talking with support and it's something that is known about but there is no fix yet. We're a small, rural hospital with limited staff, and the alarm fatigue is frankly getting to be DANGEROUS.
It's really sad, since we've been running whatsup for several years now, with no real issues. But somehow they can't figure out how to fix this, and it's definitely a significant problem.
Will be purchasing a different solution at next possible opportunity.

What's Up Gold
The program works well, but requires a complex configuration to alert us in power and network outages. The ergonomics of navigation could be more intuitive as well.
Purchasing process is bad
Purchasing process is bad. Paying is easy, but information on retreiving the download for this product is not very clear. You must register to the community, whereupon you are supposed to find your purchased products on your Products page. Despite the message stating "Products for new contacts and online orders can take up to 1 hour to show under My Products" my purchased product has not shown up after waiting several hours. So on the whole, not very satisfying at all. In this digital age you could expect a smoother transaction.

I've been using Ipswitch for more than 20 years. Exceptional product.
I can't quit you Ipswitch!
I started using Ipswitch in 2004 while working as a webmaster and found the product to be very reliable with features to control large user groups and track files.
Retirement started 5 years ago and recently, after being a bit bored, took on a volunteer webmaster position. My first choice, over all the free ftp apps, was and still is Ipswitch. Even though I am on a limited income, the money spent is well worth it.
Ipswitch is a reliable, stable application that is easy to use and hard to forget.
