Hi, thanks for visiting ….and welcome to Island Home. Island Home Interiors grew out of my love for the beautiful place I was born and grew up in, and the laid back, relaxed way of life that emanates from there… Sydney, Australia. Moving to the UK, with my young family and English husband back in 2010, I don’t think I quite imagined how much I would miss home… so much so, that without even thinking, and with the coastal contents of our home in Sydney as a starting point, I would scavenge about every possible retail outlet, antiques warehouse and jumble store in Manchester, looking for things to add to our English home that reminded me of sunny skies, lapping waves and sandy toes… This proved difficult in lots of ways… home styling was generally different here… and I realised that as England is a very different climate to that which I grew up in, not everything worked. So, I learnt to adapt my style to reflect that, incorporating elements of East Coast Hamptons, and English warmth.

Excellent product & service
I purchased the Lombok prayer beads and they are absolutely beautiful.
This was my first purchase but it will not be my last.
The beads arrived well packaged and I even had a telephone conversation with Sonja.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service !!!!!

My product come damaged I had lovely lady on phone but she was in Australia they asked me 2 repackage item 2 weeks after it came I had thrown my partner has just recently died I won’t be reusing but thankyou

I just want to respond to your review. Yes you are correct, I was in Australia when you emailed me to say that your lamp was faulty not broken. I contacted you back by phone straight away at a UK convenient time, and offered to replace your faulty item. I also asked for photos from you of the issue which we did not receive.
You advised me when I spoke to you, that you had already thrown out the packaging for the lamp and I suggested that when we sent ahead your replacement, you could use the packaging for the replacement lamp to pack up the faulty item for pick up.
You didn't want to do this either, and you didn't want a refund you just wanted the whole situation left and you didn't want us to pursue the matter any further.
As I was so concerned about this I sent you a voucher for your next order with us, and expressed my condolences for your recent loss. I really don't know what else we could have done to assist you and we are very sorry that you felt that we didn't manage this situation well.

Customer service was impeccable. Thank you Sonia so much for taking care of my order and keeping me updated with calls and emails. Most interior companies should be run like this!

From first contact Sonja went out of her way to find the perfect table for my space. Even asking for a photo to match existing furniture perfectly. She really does put her heart and sole into every sale. I adore the table. I would love the whole range!

What an absolutely gorgeous company, we ordered the large hamptons console table, a vase & foliage and everything is just so beautiful. Sonja the owner went above & beyond with service, from the moment I enquired about the products I received so much genuine care and attention, it's a rarity these days and what makes this company so special. Top quality products with exceptional customer service, I'm already saving up for my next purchase! PS they offer speedy shipment for large furniture to Northern Ireland which is awesome.

Fabulous company
I am so pleased that I found this company. I have ordered repeatedly and the products are of excellent quality enhancing my home and giving it exactly the look I was aiming for. The customer service is the best that I have ever experienced with hand written notes included in every fabulous hand wrapped package.
