Irish School of Motoring - ISM Avis 

I had Niamh as my driving instructor and she was absolutely unbelievable. She helped me pass my driving test first time and constantly tried to squeeze me in for lessons/pre tests whenever she could. I would highly recommend Niamh as she is super accommodating and just amazing at giving tips and tricks to learn the rules of the road. Would definitely recommend Niamh as a driving instructor for anyone.

I highly recommend ISM. I had Niamh as my instructor for my pre-test. She was a great instructor who made me feel calm and confident and had me well prepared for the test. Thanks for all your help Niamh :))

I wish I could give zero star or negative star.

I have purchased a package of 12 x 1hr lesson in early 2022. The customer service lady helped to book in all 12 lessons. But then the instructor called me and shouter at me why i book all 1 hr lesson, he said he never take 1-hr lesson. He cancelled half of my classes, and changed half of them to 3x 2hr lesson.

I tried to book in the remaining lesson with him, but he said he cant give me any slot. I tried few times, but he still said he is busy and no time slot for me. I called customer service, but the lady only said I should book with instructor directly, and she will leave a message to the instructor.

I can never book the remaining 6 x 1hr lesson with them. And I have no idea if i can get refund for the unfinished lesson.

Passed first time around BIG thanks to William Lambe at ISM 🙏 very flexible with lessons and very calm, excellent at explaining things.. I had never driven a car before starting with William and I passed on my first test ☺️

Just what to say a big thank you to Dave for giving me the confidence in passing my bus test he really is a asset to your company.

Done forklift course was good no money in it. No work. You don't know were next job is coming from. Found ISM Recruitment staff rude kept ringing and when you ring back jennifer in particular they don't know why you are ringing. Keep 10er an hour..

I had a guy called Con and we went to the same place every week and he never went through any road signs or any of the theory. It was honestly disappointing and a real let down on ISMs part and the part of the instructor. Shameful.

I started my lessons with Will (NTS) in February. He made the whole process of learning to drive, understanding the rules of the road, anticipations and more complex manoeuvres feel far less daunting than it could have been. He put me at ease and wasn’t shy of being honest about where I was having issues and how to correct them. This allowed me to address in advance of my test which I passed first time in September. From arranging lessons (thanks Phil!) to the lessons themselves everything was managed effectively and easily. Highly recommended without hesitation

Murray is a great instructor. He’s very calm and really helps build confidence. A good experience overall.

Good length course and good understanding

Do not book with this company, they give you a false information and the driver does 6 x 2hour lessons instead of 12 x 1 hour lessons . The communication with the driver is not good enough and not very accommodating. I will rather spend my €500 with a professional company.

Working with Ism since 2018 great organised pay always in time what’s great for me no issues from them ,recommend for beginners to advanced drivers and you can choose driving position what suits the driver

I done lessons and pre tests with Niamh and passed my test, brilliant instructor would really recommend :)

I did my D1 licence training with Tom Bates ,he was a brilliant teacher i found him very understanding, polite, patient and thorough.also had richie at the start, I found his attitude cocky un friendly and aggressive trying to intimidate me, gave me wrong road signs and a sress headache after every lesson, avoid him!!

I’ve had a couple instructors in a few places, I went to ism to complete my lesson and I was given Niamh Brady. I can’t recommend her enough. She made me feel so comfortable and I passed my test on the first go!

I wish was a minus star, after pay for my daughter 12 classes in full. For appointment was a nightmare, the instructor was always cancelling the lessons, customer service is terrible, I was promised to have a car for the day of the test but the "instructor" was on holiday and they said nothing they can do. DO not use this company is the worse.

Huge thanks to Niamh for her excellent lessons. I was very unsure regarding the ins and outs of the Driving Test and wanted to fine tune my driving. Niamh was extremely knowledgeable and guided me through pre tests lessons. She helped me feel confident and was very supportive. She was kind and even squeezed me in for an extra lesson the day before my test. Nothing but professional throughout. Truly thanks to her I passed first time. Would highly recommended Niamh for first time drivers and those who want to improve their driving skills.

My EDT driving lessons have been exceptional! The instructor (Murray A.D.I) is patient and knowledgeable, making the transition to new driving regulations seamless. Highly recommend for anyone adjusting to driving in a new country!
