Best pies ever.
We just tried the steak and stilton pie and think they're the best pies we've had in a *long* time. The filling was delicious and incredibly well balanced and even the pastry was absolute perfection. We have two cherry pies in the fridge still to enjoy and we'll definitely be coming back for more!

Oh wow, thank you so much for this gorgeous review. It honestly means the world. That steak & stilton is a bit of a labour of love, so hearing you enjoyed every bit of it has absolutely made my day. This was the silver award winner at the British Pie Competition this year.

Proper Comfort in Every Pie
The pies here are absolutely brilliant—properly comforting and full of flavour. My personal favourite was the Welsh Angus Beef & Guinness pie; it was spot on and beautifully done.
It’s also lovely to see some dairy-free options on the menu, which makes the place all the more accommodating. I’ll definitely be popping back to pick up a few more pies.

Amazing homemade pies
I strongly recommend these locally produced pies. I tried the Welsh Angus Beef & Stilton Pie and it tasted amazing. You can tell it is homemade and cooked with care. I'm looking forward to trying other pies on the menu.

Absolutely stunning pies. We look toward to the market just for the pies. Highly recommend the moo and Stilton, that’s my favourite. Though have tried most and all are beautiful !! Highly recommend!

Tried I spy pies for the first time…
Tried I spy pies for the first time today at St Fagans food festival. It was amazing, I had the Welsh Angus beef & Guinness pie. Beautiful. Best pie I’ve tasted in a while! Great customer service which is always a bonus.

Worst pie ever
I had a pie at the vale Glamorgan show and to my disappointment was absolutely the worst pie I have ever had.
My wife had one also. Dry no filling and the packet mash you are serving is disgusting and £12 each is wow this was the worst meal ever.

We take all comments seriously, and I’m disappointed to learn that our pies and mash didn’t live up to the standard we aim to deliver. We do use high-quality packet mash, chosen specifically for its consistency and reliability at large-scale outdoor events, but I understand it may not be to everyone’s taste. As for our pies, they’re handmade with care and generous fillings, so I’d really appreciate the opportunity to understand more about what went wrong.

Excellent pies
Yet another delicious pie from Wenvoe farmers market. This time corned beef and bean. Also a truly delicious quiche. Previously tried the beef as well as the lamb. Hoping for a Chinese chicken one at some point.

I was lucky enough to be able to try a Chilli con Carne pie and it was perfect. The pastry was thick and crumbly and the pie was jam packed with chilli con carne. Can’t wait to try the Lamb one next 🩷

Bought the Chicken Tikka Pies today and can say they are the best pies I’ve ever eaten! The pastry is gorgeous and the pie is so full of filling! Would 100% recommend & would buy again! Can’t wait to try more!

Lovely home made pies with delicious filling, and plenty of it. They were freshly baked that morning and still warm when I bought them.
The Chinese chicken, chicken and mushroom and lamb and mint were all lovely. Definitely worth a try.
