Absolutely amazing experience! I had enquired with so many other clinics as I had some dental issues and I wanted composite bonding, no where else gave as much time and understanding on message as these guys did, so last minute I switched to come to these and it was the best decision! The attention to detail and the care shown to me and my partner was incredible. I felt as though they actually care about my dental health, and i was supposed to get my upper and lower teeth done but decided on just my upper composite bonding when there as they had made my teeth look so good with just the whitening alone! They were so supportive of this and it didn’t matter that they had booked me for more hours, and the finished work - WOW! The dentist gave me the most beautiful smile that fits my face perfectly, and so natural. I’ve never felt more confident! The manager was incredible, going between me and my partner, who had fillings & whitening and making sure everyone is ok, I’ve never seen a manager so engaged at work! As well as translating between the staff and us constantly, he was so kind and helpful and had such a warming energy! We will be coming back here for all of our dental work. We left very happy customers!

My dental journey is a long one, so I hope you have a little time to read my review. I had protruding upper teeth and overlapping bottom teeth and wanted to straighten them. After wearing braces for 2 and a half years starting in 2020 I was highly disappointed at the end of my treatment as I was left with triangular gaps between each of the lower teeth and the gum area, and my top front teeth were still protruding. The dentist who treated me stated that due to bone loss they couldn't continue the process of straightening my teeth. I asked whether they could rectify the triangular gaps between my lower teeth and the answer was no. Basically, I would need to find an alternative dentist to resolve the problem. I was really disappointed with the final outcome, and felt quite depressed, especially after spending thousands on the treatment and enduring years of discomfort wearing wired braces.

I chose to wear my night retainers all the time, day and night as they gave my teeth a better aesthetic appearance by covering the triangular gaps, but I had to take them out to eat which made me feel very conscious if I went out for dinner with friends. Towards the end of last year (2025) I began doing research into what the best treatment would be in resolving the issue with my teeth, and looked into composite bonding initially. I came to realise that it wouldn't work for my teeth as it generally works best with people that have relatively straight teeth and only require a touch up for minor chips, whitening and shaping. Therefore, my research continued. I looked into veneers, and again it wasn't advisable due to the issues with my protruding teeth. Finally, crowns was the recommended procedure that would resolve all the issues I had with my teeth, and would give me the smile I had desperately wanted all my life. However, based on the procedure, I was anxious about taking that step.

I reached out to a number of clinics, and they all as much suggested that crowns would be the best solution after seeing pictures of my teeth. The prices quoted in the UK were way beyond what I could afford. So, I hesitantly focused on clinics in Turkey. I had so many reservations as I had heard of a few nightmare stories. Nonetheless, I contacted quite a few clinics in Turkey to discuss the treatment and prices, bearing in mind I had a budget that I couldn't exceed. I checked so many reviews on Trust Pilot, and eventually came across Istanbul Dis Akademisi, and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by their reviews.

I spoke with the manager Umut at great length via WhatSapp asking him so many questions, and he patiently answered them all. He wasn't pushy like some of the other clinics that I had spoken to, he was very reassuring.

Eventually after a lengthy back and forth chat over a few days my treatment was booked for 5 days. I arrived on Monday 16th February 2026 and everything he promised was delivered. Upon arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Airport, my daughter and I were picked up in an executive style vehicle and taken to a really lovely 5 star hotel. Our room had two large double beds, a washing machine, a double ring electric stove, microwave, fridge, bottles of water, a kettle plus tea and coffee. It also came with breakfast, access to the gym, swimming pool and a sauna.

My treatment started the following day. Umut arranged to pick us up at 9:50, and was punctual that morning and punctual with all the pick up times throughout my treatment. I have to say how clean the clinic was, as has been pointed out by everyone in their reviews. Their hygiene standard is very impressive and provided me with the additional reassurance I needed. Umut's sister-inlaw, Dr Candan, who was my personal dentist, did an amazing job. Her concentration to detail and precision in ensuring everything was done correctly set my mind at ease. As a family business, the dynamic between everyone is well coordinated and seamless. The final crowns were installed on the Thursday, and I can't tell you how happy I felt to see my new beautiful smile.

I want to thank the whole team for giving me the ability to smile confidently for the first time in my life, and wholeheartedly recommend Istanbul Dis Akademisi if you're thinking about transforming your smile. Their price is reasonable, and unlike some clinics, they will refuse to do treatment if they don't think you really need it, or they envisage a problem resulting from the treatment as in the case of my daughter who wanted veneers. Her teeth had an overbite and needed a little straightening, so they refused to treat her, losing potential money. I respected their professionalism by putting their good name above money.

Just a brilliant experience from start to finish. The vip pick up was superb on time and waiting at airport. The hotel stay was 10/ 10 breakfast was great. Transfers from hotel to clinic were allways on time perfect punctuation following a whattsapp message. The doctors that done my work which was wisdom teeth removal 2x. Normal teeth removal 2x 3 inplants and 16 Z crowns performed there magic with amazing concentration and lazer like focus. Dr canden and dr yavus wow 2 doctors dentist surgeons how ever you want to address them at the very top of there game. I cant speak highly enough of them. THANKYOU.
