What’s up with this app, I’m watching “ collision “ and everytime an ad break comes on , when it ends the programme goes back to the beginning, once I’ve finished watching this, hopefully before the end of the decade I won’t bother with this useless, faulty app ever again, absolutely rubbish and infuriating

It's a huge shame I have to give a lonely star to ITVX, as it certainly doesn't deserve it. BBC Iplayer truly puts it to shame. I don't have the time to list the problems, but I think we can agree it is atrocious. What's happening? Why it so awful? You would have thought they would be able to provide something better. ITVX hang your head is shame.

The worst streaming app on my Virgin Box. Even though I pay for no ads/premium monthly fee, if a programme is currently still on (let's say it's halfway through), you can't watch it from the start and then pause it! C'mon ITV, even Sky sports lets us do this. Of all the streaming apps (BBC, 4, Sky) this is easily the worst.
Most providers like sky and virgin are moving away from physical recording boxes to streaming boxes to ITV need to really up their game it's terrible.

Really bad. Crashes & turns off my device constantly. It’s a real challenge to try to watch anything on there…I don’t have the time to mess around with it. Bye bye ITV 👋

Until this month we’ve paid the fee to watch advert free….. the renewal warning was for £60 …. A 50% increase! There is a reasonable spread of content on the Channel but no explanation of such a huge increase… when I contacted to cancel membership there was no expression of regret or concern, so one can only assume that they made the decision to make a huge increase expecting to lose contracts….we are now deciding which streaming service to join.

This must be the worst app out there. Every time i use it it is a constant battle to get what I want. I can't easily find recently aired episodes, can't watch without every ad possible thrust in my face, cant get rid of information banner at bottom of screen, can't resume a stream if anything goes wrong etc etc. Absolute nightmare. Use iplayer and it just works every time.

ITVX is a worthless streaming service, it is quite literally the worst streaming app I have ever had the misfortune of having to encounter. Slow, constantly crashing, incessant and unnecessary adverts. When ITVX crashes, it usually crashes so badly that I have to restart my device altogether, I have never had so many issues with a steaming app. It is, quite simply put, the worst. 1 star as I can’t rate it 0, it is worse than useless.

Even one star is too good for the TERRIBLE help and service form ITVX. I am paying £5.99 a month for nothing, I can sign in but watch nothing! Every time I try to access a movie or TV series the system loops back to sign in, round and round it goes on both Laptop with Windos 10 and Ipad. No signal issues at all. The chat line is the only helpline I can get, no real person to speak to and after almost 3hours on the chatline I am still unable to watch anything. I have rebooted, cleared cache etc but nothing resolves this issue. On speaking to friends today there are others out there with similar situation, so what is going on? I need a phone number to speak with a real person to fix this and refund me for months of payments with no access. I will be reporting this to financial ombudsman and newspapers as unable to get any help and result from ITVX.

Itvx is very poor viewing will stick any sport on all the time was there s desent film on over Easter or at weekends that has not been replayed a million time there are more game shown than needed prime time viewing game shows weekend game shows you are forced to buy more channels of rubbish takes longer to find something to watch than to watch it fo they care at the top no its absolutely rubbish

Trying to watch grace on catchup, I can honestly say Itv is worse than it used to be. Freezes, length of adverts, everything after an advert it states "something has gone wrong retry" then when you attempt retry multiple times it then eventually puts the programme back to the beginning instead of where you left off. Armagh its appauling

I live in a rural area with no terrestrial signal and no line of sight to a satellite, so I have to get all my TV streaming. This is no problem at all until I want to watch something happening on ITV - today, the Grand National. Then it simply doesn't work. I have a smart TV but it's a Blaupunkt not an LG and it seems that ITVx does not work with this. Consequently there's no "live" tab and I can't get to watch it. What's the point of watching yesterday's racing?

I had no choice but to watch friday nights Emmerdale and Coronation street on itvx platform ,because mysteriously my planned recording had been cleared and not by me or my other half.
itvx platform is not as enjoyable as the previous itv hub changing was a massive mistake for me , but virgin media devils removed my recordings yesterday , its because i will not upgrade to 360 which is not free

ITV X is absolutely useless. I try to use it every day to catch up on a certain program and every time it will not work. The stock reply is something went wrong retry. Offcom you should be stopping them transmitting they are an absolute disgrace.

Waaaaaaaay too many ads. Wouldn’t mind if it was 3 times a hour, but 6 times is ridiculous!! Not enjoyable and don’t recommend!

I was watching a good drama on ITVX but got absolutely sick and tired of the endless adverts, which I timed at approximately every 13 minutes! I paid to go premium “ad free”. This is a complete scam. When I returned after paying, there were immediately almost 4 minutes of “recommendations”. The usual 13 minutes later, 2 more minutes of recommendations!!! WHY in god’s name did I pay almost £60 for the privilege of watching ITV push their own ads at me? Thankfully, I will get a full refund via Apple which I requested within ten minutes of paying. AVOID this so called service. All you’re paying for is more adverts, just under a different guise.
