iVino Wines Avis 15

I bought a case of Amarone from IVINIO for £192 and wasn’t aware I would be faced with a bill for duty/brokerage which was a further £52, representing a 27% increase and I would not get my wine until it was paid. Maybe I was naive but when I complained I was sent a condescending email directing me to their website. Lo and behold there was the small print not under Terms and Conditions as one would expect but under Shipping telling me that indeed I would be responsible for additional import costs. I’m not saying IVINIO have broken any rules but in my opinion they are guilty of misleading their customers by not making ‘clear and conspicuous ‘anything that may have a material effect upon your order, like for instance import duty. I’m sure they will argue otherwise but please check the small print before you order from this company as they are no different to all the rest and will probably not make any changes to their marketing. I’ve no doubt the wine will be delicious, Amarone usually is and I sincerely hope it takes away this nasty taste I have through dealing with them.

Excellent selection, VERY reasonably priced for the quality, super fast delivery. Forget wine clubs, they give you what you want, when you want it. Perfect.

The couriers delivered the order to the wrong address. It took several days to sort it out.

After my first experience with Ivino, I came to realize that I couldn't have made a better choice in switching shops when doing my monthly wine shopping. I contacted customer service to ask a few questions regarding the wines, and they replied promptly answering my questions and giving suggestions! I'm very loyal to good services that do things right, get the job done and treat clients in a respectable and polite manner. Ivino has now a new loyal customer for years to come.

I had a great experience with IVINO. My order arrived without any problem and I was able to enjoy the weekend with the mix of Chardonnay wine cases. Excellent!!!

Great selection of wines, including some unusual ones to discover. These guys made a great suggestion for a birthday present and turned around the delivery super quick. I use them to keep the wine rack stocked and for gifts for wine loving friends!
