I only called to let them know the client they worked with was using the wrong phone number. Pretty much was told to opt out and hung up on me. At least I went out of my way to communicate with them. I was super respectful as well. I’m not sure why I was treated with so much disrespect. Thanks “ burgundy.”
They're sending endless emails despite my continually marking them as a phishing scam. The emails claim to be collecting a debt it is not possible for me to have incurred since it is from a USA company and I'm a Canadian that hasn't been in the USA in decades.
They blatantly lie to the CFPB. They use same scripted answer the Affirm gave me instead of giving their own actual answer. They claim the sent emails to my current email address which is funny because I can't find one email from them. I disputed what they had posted on their website because they have the wrong amounts and they just closed my disputes without checking to make sure they were actually correct. They are required by law to send a debit validation letter for every debt I have only received one letter and supposedly I have 7 debts with them. They claimed I signed a contract with them when in fact I never did. Nor did I ever sign a contract with Affirm because I never agreed to conduct the transaction electronically. Check their reviews on trustpilot.com before you pay them anything.
January are chasing a debt from someone with the same first name.
There's a problem those... I'm not in the USA, I'm not a US citizen and could never have incurred this debt.
They do not check anything before sending threatening emails.
