At J&B Furniture, we normally aim to deliver within 10 working days, and in many cases we complete deliveries even sooner. As we are based solely in Limerick, we organise long-distance deliveries by grouping orders in the same area to ensure efficiency and keep delivery costs low for our customers. In your case, the delivery location required a 6-hour round trip, and unfortunately we were unable to schedule that route as quickly as planned.
Although your delivery was free of charge, this does not change the fact that the delay occurred, and we fully acknowledge that we did not meet the expected timeframe on this occasion. For that, we sincerely apologise.
As a family-run business, our dedicated delivery and assembly team coordinates and completes deliveries across Ireland on our behalf. While occasional logistical challenges can arise due to scheduling and routing, the responsibility always remains with us as a company. In your case, we clearly did not meet the expected timeframe, and for that we are genuinely sorry.
Your feedback has been taken seriously, and we are reviewing our internal delivery coordination and communication processes to prevent similar situations in the future.
While the delivery timeframe was extended, we understand that there were no issues reported with the product itself, and we sincerely hope it met your expectations in terms of quality and finish.

Please allow me to clarify the situation regarding the delivery. We offer delivery across all of Ireland for just €39. At the time of your order, our transport team did not have a scheduled route in your direction, and since timely delivery was important to you, we decided to send your items via An Post. As the order contained only two bedside cabinets from the reputable brand Helvetia, this was the fastest option available.
To ensure the products arrived safely, our team repacked and reinforced the parcels, and our warehouse staff spent over two hours carefully securing the boxes to prevent any potential damage during transit with An Post.
Regarding the faulty item you mentioned, if the damage occurred during delivery with An Post, could you please send us a photo of the issue? We will be happy to review it and offer an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.

I ordered a beautiful sideboard and TV unit from the IMS Helvetia catalog via JB Furniture. Unfortunately, the hinges for the TV unit were the wrong ones for that model. This came like this from the factory, not a J&B´s fault. Damien and Jacek went above and beyond to make sure I got the right hinges, in fact Jacek came to my own home to deliver them himself.
These guys show the value of shopping local. Myself and the wife were quite impressed with the service provided.

We would like to clarify that all of our larger furniture items, especially cabinets with glass doors such as the Marine Display Cabinet, are delivered flat-packed. This is clearly stated on our website, where you can also choose the optional assembly service. Flat packing ensures safe transport of glass panels and other delicate parts, and also makes handling and delivery possible.
We understand this may not have met your expectations, but please note that assembling at home or using our assembly service is the only safe way to receive this product.

Got sliding wardrobe and Santos furniture set from them.
Furniture looks amazing and they are sturdy too. Few things only, while assembling one of the guys left a chip from a nail on the side of the display cabinet, it does not really impact the usage of furniture but when paying good money for it, we expect people do the job with more care, that is for the future.
Santos furniture delivery took longer than I expected and was first said but everytime I contacted them they kindly explained the situation, delay in delivery and etc, yet it was worth to wait as I am happy with the look and quality of the furniture.
Shout out and big thank you to Damien who was amazing from giving delivery update to very professional, neat and clean assembling.
Happy with the purchase in general.☺️

Very helpful staff and seamless service. I bought the Tulla 160cm tv cabinet in a really nice gloss white unassembled/flatpacked because it wouldn’t fit in my car assembled even though the sales advisor Damien said it would be better if they assembled and delivered it because it takes quite a bit of patience and experience to do it yourself, but I wanted it straight away and I drove to the collection depot which was very nearby the showroom and got home and started the process and wow! Was he right it took me hours of blood sweat and tears but finally got it finished and it looks fabulous. The bit of advice I would impart is get everything assembled especially if the unit has ball bearing soft close drawers as these were very difficult to align up and would drive you mental! But overall very happy with the quality of the unit and the service from this company. Would definitely recommend.
