JCB Phone Avis 92

Bought the tradesman jcb toughphone & charger lead (separate) More than happy with both items, Basic ! but at 61yrs. just what I want, works fine with my sim only deal (very inexpensive) with Sky Mobile, only need talk & text on A phone and this is 'ideal' along with a 'soft' case I bought locally, and a great Battery life & Signal.

One of the best tough phones I've had.... I got the thermal phone and yes it had a software issue....but JCB sorted it quick time and are still nice enough to email periodically to see how the new handset is. Keeping me up to date on updates and other tech news. Thank you so much RT and B

Great phone. Only grip is when setting up a bit slow. Very strong 💪

Easy to order online. Delivered in promised time. Phone is simple and does what someone needs, intuitive menus, no gimmicks. Since it can float also good outdoors. Battery could be bigger but it has a very good indicator changing colours and USB C for charging. Very practical device.

Unfortunately the plastic caddy is to flimsy i was unable to get my Sim card to fit without filling one of the edges, after trying to fit the Micro SD card for 30 minutes the card cracked.Customer Service was disgusting in all the emails between myself, saying that I was doing something wrong and that they have not encountered from other customers these problems. I had to send two screenshot of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 ,about I am dissatisfied with the mobile phone, eventually the gentleman agreed to that I could return it and get a full refund included the return postage.

Easy online ordering. The item arrived promptly and as described. I had a couple of questions afterwards and the customer service team answered everything very satisfactorily. Excellent experience. Thanks!

ALL VERY GOOD THE PHONE WAS DELIVERED OVERNIGHT (AT NO EXTRA COST) WAS ABLE TO USE MY SKY-CONTRACTED SIM IN THE HANDSET, MY SAVED NUMBERS ALL AVAILABLE ON THE HANDSET, GREAT BATTERY LIFE, BASIC PHONE {BUT THIS IS WHAT I WANTED} ALL VERY GOOD,ALTHOUGH IT WAS A 'VIRTUAL' CHAT TO MY SUPPLIER, THEY ALL SEEMED VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL.

I seem to keep breaking phones. I was looking at these phones but had a few queries the customer services replied to my emails straight away and were very helpful. I bought the phone and so far it's working, easy to use and robust.

A very basic phone - user manual very poor - the phone was difficult to use. I could not find out how to use punctuation marks in text messages etc

My phone cover arrived on time, fitted perfectly, felt comfortable in the hanf and appears to offer very good protection.

Two weeks and still no receipt for the phone after requesting it on two occasions

Bought for an elderly lady who cannot use smart phones but wants to keep in contact with friends abroad using WhatsApp

The WhatsApp interphase is awful, however it’s the best out there for a dumb phone infact. I think it’s the only solid dumb phone that I can find.
She does find it difficult, I’m just praying that she gets better at using it.

It’s a shame mobile phone makers don’t consider the generation who struggle with modern technology

Very fast delivery

Great phone, great customer service, nothing too much trouble for them. Only snag I bought it for my husband as a work phone but when it arrived, I couldn’t get it to work. They were really helpful and sent a new one out and paid returns to send it back. Second one didn’t work either. Realised it didn’t work with a Smarty SIM card but works fine with O2, as my husband has two phone. We swapped sims. Sorted. Will just say don’t buy if you have a smarty sim. They are working on solving the issue. My husband hates smart phones and has always used a JCB for work, he says he finds them simple to use and loves it.
Thanks guys for being kind, honest and caring. Not many companies like this these days.

I ordered this phone as a replacement for my 8” year old Dad - he previously had a CAT phone but it wasn’t 4G so was slowly stopping working. We may as well have kept that phone as it would have been just as useful!

There is nothing simple about this phone, at all. You can’t dial out easily, it makes you go through the contacts list first. The buttons are all displaced, no button actually means what you think it does and it’s probably for the best that it’s an indestructible phone because using it makes you want to throw it across the room!
