The overall set up of the gym is great but there are a couple of things that could make it better.

Not all the equipment is working properly & if it’s not working, there’s no sign on it to say a member of staff has acknowledged it & are trying to get it repaired.
There’s not enough clips on the ropes for the sleds in the Hyrox studio.
The air runners don’t have new batteries in the screens for them to work properly.
The wall balls are old, falling apart & aren’t even the right shape anymore.
There’s only 2 boxes for functional training for the entire gym.
The sleds in the Hyrox studio are the ones with the huge pole sticking out the middle so you can’t actually use them as you would in a Hyrox race.
The staff member I spoke to didn’t even leave his seat to help me when I asked him some questions about equipment.

If there’s a way to report issues with the equipment to get it fixed, can someone let us know? It’s a good gym otherwise, I just want to make it a bit better for everyone.

Good classes, nice instructors. Good facilities.

Really think this gym needs to run Body Combat Classes!!!!

5 of the 8 cable machines are now not fully working, the abductor machine still faulty calf machine now out of order numerous other things still faulty and the bucket of urine still going strong in the gents . JD are asking who I am ? Why are they asking for my details , it's not as if what I am saying is false. Is it because they don't like being criticised and want to stop me.

They have an amazing friendly staffs. Different exercise group sessions, workout machines that gives you all that you need to get in shape. Clean changing rooms, sauna and shower after fitness, which is good for those of us going to work after exercising. I love it and will recommend it to friends and family

I have only been once but the class I attended was great and the instructor amazing. Also, everything looked clean and it was easy to find my way around.

The gym is very accessible and has good facilities, especially since the new glute zone has been added. I do have an issue however with the cleanliness of the gym. There was recently a needle on the floor outside the men’s changing rooms which my partner handed into staff as this was incredibly unsafe. The women’s changing rooms are often an issue as there is almost never any toilet roll or the sanitary bins are overflowing with sanitary products places on the floor by other gym users which is extremely unhygienic! There also always seems to be a group of younger people vaping around the gym which I’ve noticed now on various occasions. I think to improve the gym staff need to be stricter with stopping this and improve the overall cleanliness.

I’ve been endurance athlete training coming up to 8 years, I have used all kinds of gyms from independents to every brand name gym in the UK. JD keeps me coming back, I find it had a good all round on equipment, especially since the refurbishment, there are a great range of PT’s, classes, but most importantly for me clientele. I love how on any given day at any given time you can visit and there are always a mixed range of size, shapes, abilities and training styles. I find the staff to be friendly & helpful. As a single, tiny 5ft 1 8st female I do not find this gym intimidating or uncomfortable like I’ve experienced at other gyms and I regularly do reccomend to friends.

First impressions it's seem clean and the place looks and feels cool, and plenty of machines and equipment so you'll always be able to use something

Gym is fine. Male toilets however hasn’t had hand soap since I joined, the toilet cleaning checklist sheet has been signed every hour, every day although that’s not being filled?

In a gym of all places that should be paramount.

I’ve had no issue with the gym itself but the women’s toilets are mad. Majority of the time there’s no soap (esp when hitting peak hours later in the day) which is filthy in a gym, like 2 of the doors don’t work (can’t shut) and when one does shut there’s a massive gap so anyone could see you. Think maybe there’s a lack of cleaners too because they’re always running out of toilet roll.

Large variety of equipment catering for all fitness needs. Gym appeared clean and had a friendly atmosphere

Great facilities, everything you’d need and plenty of it. Easy access and easy to cancel if you ever need to.

Great atmosphere, really clean and well maintained and such a great array of equipment

JD Gym is what iv been looking for in a gym plenty of equipment to choose from and with it been 24 hours it means I can train when iv done work I would recommend JD gyms to anyone from beginners to advanced they cater for all fitness levels

Could be a bit better such as sauna being on past 10 o’clock seen as tho it’s a 24 hour gym also changing room unlocked because it’s a 24 hour gym

Gym Equipment is massive and l love the support from your Staff.
