JD Gyms - Liverpool City Centre Avis 

Great building and venue. However cardio is cheap and does not function properly. Treadmills speeds don’t work and quite frustrating
The Life Fitness strength stuff is fantastic, maybe start using them for cardio?

This is an amazing gym. I subscribed to JD when I moved to Liverpool and I was with them for a long time until I decide to try another gym. However, I came back to JD as I realised it is genuinely among the best gyms here!
Recently, I went to the gym to workout and somehow my phone got stuck in the Stair Master. I thought my phone was gone! I went to ask a member of the staff who then directed me to Hailee (another trainer) as he was training a client. Hailee was very kind and professional and came to check the machine and tried to get my phone. Even the manager came upstairs and finally, they were able to get my phone out of the machine! Both were extremely professional and willing to help me!

I enjoyed the ease at which I could sign up. Accessing the gym was simple and the facilities are wonderful. I would offer a suggestion for Liverpool Edge Lane and City Centre gyms, both gyms always have broken punch bags, regardless of the clear signage which indicates individuals should not kick the bags. May incorporating some kick-friendly bags along with heavy bags for boxing would be great. It's quite frustrating turning up for a boxing session and there are not bags to be found due to misuse.

JD are misleading people from the way they Adv. You must be clear to people.

Guys be careful and look what’s behind the offer. Surely it’s a trap.

showers are a bit rough! changing room floor/decor is abit rough, some of the machines are a bit dated i.e running machines cross trainer (the bread and butter of a gym) good music and sauna. Punch bags would be best suited away from weights that are in open view. Place is awkardly laid out but they can't help that.

Too crowded. I spend half of my time in the gym waiting for equipment to be free

Best gym I have been to so far only downside is the women’s showers, they are cold and smell bad.

I enjoy using the gym and joining the classes. The range of equipment is great.
I attempted to use the burn area on the 2nd floor this morning for a cardio circuits session however not one of the 3 ERG bikes worked... the first had a cracked screen, the second the screen didn't work at all and the third had the seat fixed as the handle to move this was stuck, so i was unable to use the equipment for my planned workout.

A great gym with all the equipment you could possibly need! And Rach the PT is brilliant, she always knows how to explain things in a way I understand, and always motivates and pushes me to get the most out of my workouts. She's already helped me lose so much weight since I started with her.

Rach is an amazing PT, built up my confidence in the gym! So friendly and always have a laugh during my sessions! Decent prices and always manages to fit me in no matter what.

Love the setup of this gym! The big windows help the space to feel bright whereas a lot of other gyms feel claustrophobic. Rachel, one of the staff members, is so helpful and always has time to say hello or help you out :)

Staff friendly, cleaners attentive, but too many treadmills have been ‘out of order’ for far too long.
One poor treadmill in particular has been broken for about six months!!! Some lights also missing and TV’s turned off too early, like 9:30. Otherwise great venue

Brilliant experience everyone was friendly.

Most of the equipments are not maintaining well enough and not working and there is no proper instructions regarding how to use equipment not had a good experience regarding this gym

Staffs are very nice and helpful, environment is clean and comfortable. A wide range of equipment is available and sufficient. The only defect is the class being canceled without notice, it’s happened in 2 consecutive week, already left comment to center and hope them improving.
