Buyer beware!!

Placed an order for some dungarees. After placing the order I had a look at the rest of the departments only to find everything was priced at the very same item price. This gave me an uneasy feeling so I took to Trust pilot. Yep my gut feel appeared to be correct.

I had further emails giving me the opportunity to add to my order, first with only a few hours to add and then a less pressured email. Having thought about it for a couple of days and with my items still not despatched and finding that the company doesn’t have a premises in York I decided to ask to cancel my order. It’s taken them 2 days to reply to my request.

My reply reads

We would like to confirm that we have already submitted a request to cancel your order and have asked the relevant team to process it as soon as possible. We will keep you updated once we receive confirmation regarding the cancellation status.

We understand that you are considering involving your bank regarding this matter. Please note that once a case is reviewed through a financial institution, the process is handled entirely by them and typically takes around 30 to 60 days before a final decision is reached. During this time, the matter remains under their review.

It is important to keep in mind that the outcome of such a review is not guaranteed. If the bank ultimately reaches a decision in our favor, the case would be considered closed on their end, and we would no longer be able to issue any refund directly.

We appreciate your patience while we work on your cancellation request and will provide an update as soon as we have further information.‘

I’m not convinced I’ll get my refund or the goods. I have also now noticed another website ‘Wilson & Carter of London’ very similar website all items the same price and equally poor rating on Trust pilot. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same outfit selling under multiple sites.

Very disappointed in myself.

Complete con artists. I am about to get my bank to refund me my full amount as company only offering 30%. I am also going to report them to trading standards as well as any other legal entity in order that they are closed down as well as given serious financial penalties. I hope they all rot in hell - despicable, lying, con artist scammers. Jessica Bee - watch your back as I’m coming for you and won’t let up till I get full legal satisfaction and your websites (all of them) are blocked from the UK. Watch out for me, because I’m coming for you !!!

All the photos look great and then they send you something that is cheap rubbish that looks nothing like what you were expecting at all.

I think this is a SCAM.

Bad quality and no contact

I’ve recently bought a dress from this company, it did not look as described, I did however wear the dress this afternoon. For an event as I was short on options. After about 1 hour the zip broke and I had to make excuses to leave, I’ve looked online at how to contact the company on the email address given on the website and I’m unable to email them to discuss a refund as the item is clear nor fit for use.
No good quality or service

I'd give no stars if I could

I'd give no stars if I could! SCAMMER - STAY WELL AWAY. I placed an order online yesterday and contacted them to cancel literally a few hours later. They said they could help as it was within the first 24 hours. I chased them up to see if they had cancelled my order and they ignored my emails. They shipped out the item anyway. I'm sure I'll never get my money back. Learn from my experience and stay well away from theses scammers!

Despicable!

I ordered a women’s size medium pair of dungarees. When they arrived they just about fit my teddy bear. I photographed them and asked for a refund - on their website it states Hassle free returns - return item within 30 days for a full refund. All they are offering is a discount off a future order. I have replied to each email that I have no intention of buying from them again and just want a refund. I think they are just delaying until the 30 days run out. Despicable!

neatly packed order

My order took around a week and a half to reach me. Everything was neatly folded and ready to wear.

Warning!!

Warning- this is not a dress shop based in York as implied on the website. It’s drop shipping from Asia and the dress I received looks NOTHING like the one I ordered.
I ordered a beautiful, blue, flowing organza dress for an important party coming up. I’ve received a dress which is poorly made of cheap materials.

I’ve emailed for a refund and had (a very quick in fairness) response asking me to basically justify why I want to send it back & requesting photos.

My hope is that they initiate the refund immediately and I will update if they don’t.

Not as advertised

I don't usually buy clothes off the internet and this is why. Company states based in York and has a picture of upmarket shop front, fantastic reduction on all clothes. Stupidly searched for reviews after placing order as slightly uneasy as too good to be true, should have listened to my instincts. Address on street view shows a costcutter in York, definately not a clothing shop, tracking number is coming from China. Suspect that when items arrive they will not be as advertised and I won't be getting a refund or able to return. Looks like they have set up a number of sites with the same sort of names. Big lesson learnt today.

If I could give a negative review I would DO NOT buy from this company the clothes are substandard and trying to return is hell. You have to return to LA even through posted from York UK ..at your own expense. Absolutely outrageous.

sizing help was useful

Wasn’t sure which size to choose, so I emailed customer support before ordering. They replied the same day and the dress fit well.

The item received doesn't look like the…

The item received doesn't look like the image- it looks like a Chinese knock-off! And not even a good one. The product isn't shaped in the same way, or style.
It's not made in the UK and isn't made from the materials listed. There is no way of returning the item or getting a refund either. Avoid this company!

Ordered at least four weeks ago and still not received. When ordering they gave the understanding that the order would be 'express delivery', what a laugh. Absolutely would not use them again, they must be in China or India eventhough it sounds English!

Easy lunch outfit

I ordered one of the midi dresses for a weekend lunch with friends and ended up wearing it several more times afterwards. The fabric felt comfortable all day and the fit was easy without needing much fixing.
