Property Tax Payment - Excellent Customer Service
I made a property tax payment on 1st May 2025 at the Brixton branch. When I asked the seller when it would be received by Inland Revenue she said she had no idea. I wasn't happy with this response but made a pledge to follow this up at another time. I returned to the Brixton branch a few days later and spoke to a different teller (Tracey) who explained that JN did not control when the tax office updated their records. I explained that I wanted confirmation that payment had been received at the very least. Tracey then suggested that she email the tax office to confirm receipt of payment and request an estimate of when their records would be updated so I could check the website. Tracey then called me back as promised when she received a response from the tax office who confirmed they had received payment from JN and that their website would be updated by 21st May. I have checked the site and all is up to date. I would just like to thank Tracey for going the extra mile to give excellent customer service, as my confidence with using JN services was low. She has restored my faith in the system and has demonstrated how excellent customer service should be given and was much appreciated.
