The Jobot Virtual recruiter has…
The Jobot Virtual recruiter has contacted me multiple times about an opportunity. I set up an appointment to discuss the positions being recruited for, only to have the virtual recruiter be a no-show. This makes me reluctant to use Jobot for ANY opportunity. This website/jobsite performance is not professional at all.
Disgustingly Unprofessional
It's actually impressive how unprofessional jobot can make itself. As an applicant, before you are even started on any real process, you get prescreened by an ai the quality of 2015 siri. It constantly cuts you off, then leaves you hanging, based entirely on what it "thinks" is an appropriate amount of time. Then, if they deign you worthy of being talked to by a human being, they MIGHT call you. Think of how this would go if you actually contracted or worked for them? Harassment or abuse - Go through this ai bot that doesn't really even listen to the problem, just gives vague statements. If I weren't going for a direct hire through them, I'd have told the bot to automatically remove me from consideration. If you then talk to a human being, they are disrespectful, and just try to push you through the door one way or another. It's clear they are a "quantity over quality" recruiter, and I would not recommend them as a job platform for candidates or employers.
Yep - it's BS alright!
Contacted for a job that isn't a fit. Took details and noticed the job doesn't exist - wanted data. Scam
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR JOB FOR THIS PLACE
This place is by far the most unethical company I've worked for. Terminating pregnant individuals and providing false reasons is why they were sued. Commissions were withheld, fraudently activity was conducted on commission overrides, health benefits cancelled with no warning, and the list goes on and on. To go from 800 employees to 300 within a year, as well as the multitude of financial hiccups...steer clear. Leadership is UNETHICAL and you need to be part of the "good ol boys" club to have a chance. They also encourage bringing a book of business with you, and if you are sued, then that's on you. They will redistribute your book of business to the Executive Manager to decide what happens next. By far the worst decision I've ever made in a career, as well as countless other individuals. STAY FAR AWAY.
Jobot created an account on my behalf…
Jobot created an account on my behalf without my permission. Then, bombarded me with promotional emails. There is no visible way to delete your account from their website. I have emailed feedback@jobot*com but have yet to receive a response.
NO NO NO NO NO. STEER CLEAR
I was part of a team of almost 30 Recruiters until everyone quit or was fired. This place was ran in a complete state of chaos. "Leaders" removed billables and gave it to other individuals. Then, they would fire that individual and the "leader" would roll the billables to their own account to hit goal. Add to this that they fired two pregnant women (google Jobot lawsuit) and you will see the chaos this company is, and has become (look at Glassdoor and select recent reviews).
Their is NO true leadership, and this is in fact a pyramid scheme type of company. The reviews about health insurance, commissions, etc...they are all true. This place lacks empathy and respect, and definitely cares little about ethical/good people. Dollar is King, here. STEER CLEAR.
Ghosted after Resume was sent to Employer. Still Zero Follow Up when I Emailed for Feedback.
Sent in a resume and got a quick response back from Jon Lopez via email. A call was scheduled to discuss an opportunity. The call ended that Jon was going to forward my resume to the prospective employer. Then complete ghosting by the Jobot representative Jon Lopez. I emailed him asking for a follow up or feedback and nothing. Reading other Jobot reviews, now after the fact, I recommend you don’t waste your time.
I applied for one job and then I am…
I applied for one job and then I am getting spammed every day. I have tried to unsubscribe 5-6 times and then on the next day their website still shows I am subscribed. Very spammy company and I asked them to delete my account and wipe my data.
Recruiters don't know how to recruit. ZERO follow-up.
I was referred by a Jobot employee to apply for several positions that I was more than qualified for but was never contacted by the recruiter, Jacqueline D. NO follow up. Apparently, she has no interest in connecting with new clients or adding to the Jobot talent pool. "Hiring experienced recruiters who believe in providing the best possible service to their clients and candidates." and "Having a culture built on kindness and respect." FALSE STATEMENTS. Moving forward, I would not recommend Jobot for higher level roles and would invest my time and $ with a legitimate, experienced headhunter. This seems more like a big Dog & Pony Show than a legitimate Recruiting/Staffing Agency.
Contacted multiple times
Contacted multiple times, by multiple "recruiters", no follow up. Applied using their "AI Interview" platform, JAX. Not really AI, just a data collection system. Seems like that is their true business model, data mining. My fiancé is in recruiting. She's worked for all shapes and size agencies, from "boutique" agencies to medium and is currently at LinkedIn; she's never heard of such unprofessionalism. Their socials are on point though, guess that's all that matters now LOL.
They are a scam
They are a scam. Terrible. Some job sites have stopped listing postings from them.
The people they advertise don't have Linkedin accounts. I hope they go out of business.
Don't bother
Applied to several jobs and not once got an email response nor a phone call from a recruiter. Don't bother folks.
Everyone needs to know that this company is going under!!! Filing bankruptcy soon!!
Everyone needs to know that this company is going under. Beware! They didn’t pay health insurance for their employees for a month and didn’t tell them AND when services were not covered- they did not reimburse them!!
They also have not paid any commission bonuses once November 2023 but are still taking the $$ from the clients.
It is a quick sinking ship. Watch out and beware. The new CFO they brought in won’t even work for the comp- he took it as a contractor because the financials week so bad!!! Bad bad news!!
I believe this is a scam geared at…
I believe this is a scam geared at getting your personal info. They sent me a link to a “culture and fit assessment,” which was really just a fake personality test asking you to click words that describe you. Then I got a demeaning message from the alleged recruiter claiming that “the client,” whom I never met or spoke to, said I lacked attention to detail and they were going to pass. Jobot just wanted my personal information.
AVOID
AVOID
Please avoid Jobot at all costs. I know the market is bad right now. I know finding a job right now sucks. They do not post real jobs. They are not legit. The job postings are absolutely fake. Please do not waste your time with Jobot. Block robot and the "recruiters" who are scam /scum.

I’ve applied for probably 2 dozen jobs in which I have approximately 22 years of experience including military.
I’ve never received follow up emails nor phone calls from anyone at Jobot.
However, one thing that has increased since applying through Jobot are the high number of emails I get from recruiters outside of the US asking me to apply for jobs in my area in which these jobs are not posted on other sites.
I truly believe Jobot is a SCAM site used to obtain peoples’ information, which is then sold over and over again.
