Updated Review – Ongoing Experience with AsherMD

Following my initial review of AsherMD, I want to provide an updated and balanced perspective based on my continued experience as an active provider.

After my first review was posted, the AsherMD team reached out and encouraged me to revise or remove it. Since then, I have noticed an increased effort from their staff to improve communication and customer service, which I do appreciate. However, despite these improvements, I still cannot confidently recommend AsherMD to other providers. In my opinion, there are more cost-effective and reliable ways to offer peptide services to clients.

Most recently, I placed an order on April 8th for a three-month supply of Tirzepatide for a client. The prescription was approved by the physician on April 9th. However, the pharmacy did not ship the order until three business days later. We paid an additional $35 for dry ice shipping, yet the delivery took approximately 48 hours in transit.

Upon arrival, the internal temperature of the package was measured at 86.4°F, with an external temperature of 87.5°F. While I understand that shipping conditions can sometimes be outside of AsherMD’s direct control, the pharmacy they partner with is ultimately responsible for proper handling and fulfillment. In this case, the medication—specifically reconstituted 503A Tirzepatide—was not shipped under appropriate temperature-controlled conditions.

This situation understandably caused concern for my client and negatively impacted our business reputation. When I raised the issue, I was informed that the medication had not lost potency and was still safe to use. However, no replacement was offered, despite the compromised shipping conditions and the additional fee paid for temperature-controlled delivery.

From a professional standpoint, I believe a replacement shipment would have been the appropriate course of action to ensure patient safety and maintain provider confidence. Peptides—particularly when reconstituted—can be sensitive to prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures, and this risk should be taken seriously.

Additionally, I would encourage prospective providers to carefully review the pattern of feedback on this platform. I observed that several one-star reviews were followed by multiple detailed five-star reviews in a short timeframe. While this may be coincidental, it is something worth considering when evaluating overall credibility.

To be clear, this review reflects my honest experience as a current provider. There are both advantages and disadvantages to working with AsherMD, and I believe it is important for others to have full transparency before committing to the initial onboarding cost of approximately $1,000, along with the ongoing monthly fee of $270.

I hope this review helps other providers make a well-informed decision when considering a partnership with AsherMD.

This place should be reported to the Medical Board. They appear to be training non-medical providers to sell weight loss medications to anyone who walks in. GLP-1 medications are prescription drugs that require proper medical evaluation and supervision.

In addition, their pricing is extremely high for what they are offering. Patients should be cautious and make sure they are receiving care from properly licensed medical professionals.

They make a profit off your monthly subsription and orders.

I understand what your company is doing, and after attending the meeting and learning more about the model, I have serious concerns.

From what I observed, your company appears to be allowing individuals with no medical background to act as intermediaries in the sale or marketing of prescription medications. While I understand that a physician may ultimately be the one prescribing, the structure you described essentially trains non-medical individuals to recruit clients for prescription treatments. In my opinion, that raises significant ethical and regulatory concerns.

As a medical provider who has been prescribing peptides and other therapies for years, I was particularly concerned by the lack of medical understanding demonstrated during the meeting. The individual presenting the information was discussing peptides and prescription medications but did not appear to have a clear understanding of what he was explaining. That does not inspire confidence in a model that involves medical treatments.

It also appeared that individuals are being asked to pay subscription or membership fees in order to participate in this system, with the expectation that they will recruit clients who will then be connected to a prescribing physician. From my perspective, that structure looks like a monetization model built around prescription medications, which raises serious questions.

What was especially concerning was hearing that people with completely unrelated backgrounds truck drivers, karate instructors, and others with no medical trainingcould essentially become “salespeople” for prescription medications. I find that highly problematic.

Prescription medications, including GLP-1 medications and certain peptides, should be handled within appropriate medical frameworks and under qualified medical supervision. Allowing untrained individuals to market or facilitate access to these medications creates potential risks for patients and raises questions about compliance with medical regulations.

Because of these concerns, I believe this type of model warrants scrutiny by the appropriate regulatory authorities, including the medical board.

Update 01/19: One of the owners of the company reached out to me to listen to my concerns, make it right, and quickly followed up with my feedback. I really do appreciate this. They are making changes and updates to their programs that I think will dramatically change the on-boarding experience that I had.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Customer service is awful. They are pros at making the business owner feel responsible for their process and you cannot contact anyone from the management team. They have the founders completely blocked from contact. Not only this on their on-boarding call they offered a 30 day money back guarantee. Well day 27 I requested it. They didn't honor it. And instead double downed as if they did everything right, and I'm wrong. Bad business. Totally impersonal, they're just trying to make money they do not care.

This organization is the real deal. I've been nearly scammed so many times trying to find a way to get my clients GLP1's through my non medical organization. Other organizations have bad leadership, no sense of community education, lack of law knowledge for my state, and poor poor poor customer service. This organization has truly figured out how to deliver all the things I could need for my clients and for my business and at incredibly affordable prices. If you want to get your clients to medical help and don't have a clue how- THIS is the only organization you should be talking to. They've thought of everything and make it safe for your business with all the support you could need!
