Highely recommend Jolt

Highely recommend Jolt, i have been using them for a while now and they are always on hand on live chat and email support for any questions i have no matter how big or small the request is, never experience any downtime with these, its been and still is a pleasure to work with these guys espically as im about to go into a full new server migration i know they will make it effortless and seamless for me and my clients.

Switching to a new server - Support offered is first class

Switching to new servers is always tricky, with scripts that worked on the old server unexpectedly breaking. Jolt committed to maintaining exactly the same server configurations, diagnosed a broken invoicing script issue and came up with a quick solution that saved us many hours and days of work.

Slow

Slow, oversold servers. Jolt charge ~£4/month for the server I was using, I had switched from a cheaper host ($5/year) and speed was much better, so I have switch back. Both cpanel, both has the exact same Wordpress site running on them. Jolt's customer support suggested "I hire a Wordpress developer to check my site's problem", yet it worked flawlessly on a much cheaper host?

Go elsewhere.

Their reply; "Career negative reviewer if you check this person's TrustPilot history. Take the review with a pinch of salt."

Says a lot about how unprofessional this company is, rather than addressing the issues they tried to insult me, and if they bothered to check, I have left a lot of positive reviews.

EDIT: "trying our best to resolve this issue". From my review you will see I contacted you prior to moving my site and your advice was to hire a WordPress developer rather than admit that your servers are slow, how else would explain the instant performance boost when I switched host (to a cheaper one)?. It is too late now as I have already spent the time and money switching host, but it says a lot about your company that you find time to spend "a week" trying to resolve an issue once I've left negative feedback.

Great hosting service!

I've been working with Jolt for several years and every time that I need help with my websites they are always ready to help and within little time my troubles are over, even though sometimes they are not strictly hosting issues, but sometimes they are due to the cms or its plugins!
Thank you to all the Jolt's staff, who is effective and always kind!

Superb

Jolt has been nothing but excellent since I changed from another host recently. Their customer service has been polite, informative, patient and incredibly quick to respond (both billing and technical support). Any host these days can offer a reasonably-priced service that looks good technically, but I suspect that few offer the level of customer service that Jolt provides. Some other hosts may look cheaper initially, but it's worth considering just how much more you get with a business that clearly cares about its reputation and its manner in dealing with customers.

Service & Support

Service is generally above average. But from time to time I have problems with technical support.

I currently have an issue sending mail from my domains which are hosted by Jolt. It is not a problem with their servers or their service. It is a problem with BT who are worse than useless.

But after asking questions to confirm what I think I know, I can't get a straight answer out Jolt Customer Service. Their solution is to duck and to deny all knowledge of a solution.

I am certain I am not the only currently ex-BT client, hosting with Jolt, to experience this and their answer should be "this is something all ISP's do......because......and you might consider....."

Instead what I am getting is not our problem, not interested.

The best hosting company I've used!

Jolt's web hosting service is excellent; fast servers, no downtime and great value for money. Their customer support is the real bonus - their response is always very efficient and you actually speak to a real human! Can't recommend highly enough.

Insinuated I am a liar and comitting an offence

Horrible company and would suggest to anyone to deal with a proper host such as go daddy.

Great support

Great service, and their support has always got back to me with to resolve issues really quickly (especially on the support chat which is answered by a real person). They've even been proactive in reaching out to me to make me aware of a potential issue. Thanks! (Oh, and the hosting seems quicker than other providers I've used in the past).

Simply the best - no question. 5* Managed Hosting Provider

Jolt.co.uk have provided our organisation with a managed server which is hosted within their facility in Timico Newark. Since we have had the server which has now been for six months, we have experienced NO downtime. Their support has been extremely responsive, even responding to requests out of hours, and on Saturday evenings. This was all for free and part of the service - quite a rarity these days - many providers wish to charge for these additional extras. I have more than 12 years experience working in the ISP and telecommunications field and I highly rate jolt.co.uk. We very much appreciate all of the support and first class service we have received. Thank you.

We just set up our business with Jolt and have had a great experience so far. The team is using the technology and Jason from Jolt has been great support from the set up and implementation points.
