JUCY Campervan & Motorhome Hire - Adelaide Airport Avis 33

Not impressed!
We hired a van from Christchurch New Zealand for two weeks and virtually everything didn't work properly - vehicle tragically underpowered (spot the traffic queue up every hill) no cooker, no saucepans, no USB chargers, no sink draining, broken chairs, a toilet right opposite the fridge (do they really think you can use this?), dirty fridge (not cleaned) etc etc.
During our trip the Customer Services people were "very concerned" and said we should claim compensation at the end of our trip. When trying to do so, we were completely blanked by Jucy. They refuse to respond to emails once you have returned the van.
We had a brilliant holiday despite Jucy, rather than because of them.
Do yourself a favour and book with a more reputable company.

A little inconvenient is the sink. While pushing, it's hard to clean and there is no good space for the gasstove, in general the kitchen is a little too compact.

If l could give a zero star l would. We hired a 6 berth motor home, pick up was good. When we started driving out of the city on the open road the van started shaking a lot. My husband thought the van needed a wheel balance so he would have it done when we arrived at our destination 6 hours away. We stayed on 90km an hour all the way so the van did not shake as much. we rang the emergency number and they agreed to pay for a wheel balance. The next day we took it to the wheel shop. Three hours later they called to say, the problem was the front wheel had been put on incorrectly after a blown tire, (yes the spare was totally blown). The shaking was the loose wheel and the nuts holding the tyre on had all broken. We were lucky not to have been in a serious accident. The motorhome had left Juicy with a blown spare tyre and the new one not installed correctly. This totally ruined our holiday as they replaced the van with a two berth. We got some compensation but nothing made up for the ruined 10 day trip.

Really friendly, really great service.
No stress rentals, collect, leave back.
No nit picking.

Sadly the booking was canceled by mistake by someone, not sure if it was from a third party, but managed to reinstate the booking the next day (5th May)
No issues with the staff, they were more than accommodating once the issue was found.
The vehicle was perfect for what we needed while in Adelaide.

Very personal treatment both at pick up and drop off. Very good price, no hassles with the drop off, in short, great value.

Great staff, after an initial hiccup with the airport pickup, they got us to jump in a taxi and refunded the taxi fare. Plain sailing after that. The car was clean, although like most car rentals they don't clean the inside of the windscreen, which only becomes apparent when it steams up or at night.

The staff at North Plimpton went out of their way to assist me with a great deal on a camper van.

The car was smaller and older than expected. There was also significant damage. This didn't prove to be a problem when returning the car, but the whole rental experience was underwhelming. The lack of care with regard to the main thing you are selling, the cars, doesn't make customers feel comfortable with the experience.

Check in was a little slow but the overall experience was very good - good vehicle and very prompt return with no problems. Because they were busy they even arranged and paid for a taxi to take us to the airport

Easy registration. No fuss. The car was good and reliable. We were taken from, and returned to the airport in Adelaide. We would definitely recommend Jucy.
