Customer service is excellent.

I have had a reseller account with these guys for over a year now. I knew nothing about hosting but every issue, question (pathetic or not) that I have posed they have been spot on in their support every time! I could not be happier with the service I receive, and it's not unusual for the MD to be answering support tickets! I would have no hesitation in recommending JustHostMe.

worst hosting ever

worst hosting ever, broke the site, dns down - emailed saying 31st october but it stopped working on 23rd october, I lost tens of thousands of deals as I wasn't getting any emails whole day, only to be told 'don't worry it was a brief outage'. moving away immediately.

We appreciate that you’ve been hosting with us since July 2020. As we haven’t seen any other problems reported during this time, we’re sorry to hear that this single issue has led you to switch providers.

As we discussed over live chat, using only two of the four name servers meant reduced DNS redundancy; using all four would have prevented the problems experienced. You were also using private rather than our public name servers, so any IP changes had to be managed by you.

Shared hosting isn’t intended for high-volume, business-critical applications; VPS or dedicated hosting is recommended. We also note that your email is hosted externally. For critical domains, monitoring services can help detect issues early.

One of my clients changed their…

One of my clients changed their provider of IT security services and as a result my email was blocked. When I raised this with JustHostMe, I was told they couldn't do anything about it as the block was for a range of IP addresses. All they 'offered' me was to pay an extra £2.99 per month for an"Outgoing Filter" service, which I've done, but this hasn't actually solved my problem. Surely this service to prevent me inadvertently sending spam, should be provided as standard?
Only positive was that I did get a quick response to my query.

I am sorry to hear about your mail delivery issue. As mentioned, UCEPROTECTL3 lists IP ranges. Some of our IPs are within an IP range that UCEPROTECTL3 has in their block list. Even though our IPs are clean, UCEPROTECTL3 is blocking them because they have listed the IP ranges. We have suggested you route your outbound e-mail through SpamExperts instead. I will contact you now to make sure it's configured correctly.

Great company!

Great company. I've hosted 2 websites with them, one for about 10 years now and I've been really happy with the service. Recently wanted to change the domain name of a site and they helped me easily move everything over to the new domain - really helpful and quick coming back to you! Highly recommend!

Does what it says on the tin

I was looking for an escape route from the awful Tsohost/GoDaddy and JustHostMe gave me exactly what I wanted, namely straightfordward UK-based cPanel shared hosting. So far everything has "just worked" as I expected, which is as it should be but such a rarity.

Excellent service from JustHostMe

JustHostMe were recently recommended to me by someone else in my trade, as I was looking to change my web hosting company. After deciding to go with JustHostMe I found them (Jeff) to be very helpful & the transition went smoothly. I was particularly impressed that communication, & even the change over process, from my previous web host, was done out of normal office hours & weekend, which I didn't expect. However, this shows me that, although it's a small company, they are extremely customer focused.
