Just Tyres - Daventry Avis 375

Good selection of tyres online & prices were cheaper for the same tyres elsewhere.
On the day they seemed short staffed as only 1 guy was fitting tyres & also dealing with the desk & phone. He did very well considering having to multitask but took longer than the hr quoted which was understandable.

Well Mannered staff, very friendly and eager to help! TIt was the bosses birthday and he did everything he could to make sure I left satisfied, regardless how long it took!

Excellent price. Information given about moving from to back after 10,000 miles as had all 4 tyres replaced. (Not a 4 wheel drive).
Booked on line. Took longer than was expected but pleasant staff.

I needed two new tyres book same day on line and was all sort within 1 hour

Despite arriving 5 minutes early for appointment, it took over 2 hours to fit 4 new tyres which is not acceptable by anybody's standards. Not impressed.

Booked in for 1pm went back at 2.15 car hadn’t even been looked at. Had to go away again was told they would ring when it was ready which was around 345. A long time to wait around in Daventry. Why bother booking a time in if you can’t accommodate. Lovely staff maybe it’s the system is wrong.

Turned up at 9:30am for 4 new tyres and 4 wheel alignment.

Got told that theres only 2 people not 3 so could take a little longer.. I walk into town and back 1 hour and 45 mins later, I come back to my car still not started. I left at 12:18... only to find when driving home that my alignment isnt correct and they have only done 2 not 4 wheel alignment. Ended up going back, they finally got the alignment done after the 4th attempt! Left at 2:30pm, my Saturday wasted, avoid at all costs.

This is a follow-up to my previous review, as the situation has only become more disappointing.

After my original complaint, I later discovered that you had responded publicly on Trustpilot—but at no point did anyone attempt to contact me directly to resolve the issue. A public reply is not a substitute for actually addressing a serious safety concern.

When I eventually saw your response, I reached out myself and was told the matter would be investigated and that I would receive a follow-up. That follow-up never came.

I then chased this again via email, and once again, there has been no response.

So to summarise:

A tyre was fitted incorrectly, creating a potential safety risk
My concerns were dismissed initially
You failed to proactively contact me despite responding publicly
You promised an investigation and did not follow through
You have now ignored further attempts to resolve the issue

At this point, the issue is no longer just about the original mistake—it’s about a complete lack of accountability and very poor customer service throughout.

I would strongly advise others to consider how this company handles problems when things go wrong, not just when things go right

Never been let down by these guy's, always busy so normally have to phone ahead but popped in today when passing by Just in case and they where only too glad to help out on my just discovered slightly bare tyre, probably due to all the potholes.

A quick change and test and a nice little deal on the replacement.

Been using them for over 23 years and can highly recommend them.

Even though my tyres were not deliveeed and they were runninb late they gave me the next available tyre for the same price thank you

The manager needs a medal.whilst i was there a customer started shouting and being aggresive.the manager stayed calm and cool.rang the police.before the police arrived the aggresive customer left.have left my details wi5h manager hqppy to give statment.well done to the maneger for staying calm

Service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Not sure why I bothered booking. Booked in for 9.30, arrived at 9.25. Car eventually looked at 10.15.

Given the many other competitors in Daventry, for this reason alone I would use again.
