Just Wines Avis 

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had.

I found Just Wines through a Google Shopping listing advertising a non-alcoholic product with “Free delivery” displayed beneath it. When I reached checkout, I was charged over $23 in shipping. Customer service refused to honour the advertised free delivery, repeatedly referring me back to their website instead of addressing the Google Shopping advertisement that had influenced my purchase.

Communication throughout was incredibly frustrating. I repeatedly had to follow up just to receive responses, my requests to communicate by email rather than phone were ignored (I received multiple phone calls after specifically asking not to be called), and I was subsequently inundated with marketing emails that I had never knowingly subscribed to.

To make matters even more confusing, after days of correspondence I was sent an invoice through Sans Drinks, despite my enquiry always being about Just Wines. The invoice offered a worse deal than simply ordering through the Just Wines website myself, with a smaller discount and higher shipping costs.

In the end, I gave up trying to resolve the issue and placed the order myself directly through the Just Wines website.

Unfortunately, when the order arrived, they had sent the wrong item.

I contacted customer support immediately, but once again had to repeatedly follow up before receiving any meaningful response. Despite the mistake being a straightforward fulfilment error, I was told my enquiry was still being “processed” while the days passed. I had purchased these items for a baby shower and made it clear that time was critical, yet I still had to continue chasing them before the correct item was finally dispatched.

Everyone makes mistakes, but what disappointed me most was the repeated lack of ownership and urgency. Almost every stage of this purchase involved a new problem, and every resolution seemed to create another issue. By the end of the process, I had spent far more time chasing customer service than I ever should have for a simple online order.

Based on my experience, I would not purchase from Just Wines again.

No fuss ordering and quality inexpensive wine

Absolutely shocking service.
I ordered my 1st order from a team member. It was supposed to be a high quality red at a good price but after paying, and over a week later I had heard nothing & no invoice for payment. When I rang, I was told there was a glitch in the computer & my order did not go through but will be sent out. A few days later the wine turned up. I opened one bottle & it was fine so I ordered another 3 dozen. Then after an extra week & no invoice or contact from Just Wines I rang only to be told again there was a glitch in the computer. You take my money & forget about the order. Again days later the the wine turns up on my door step. I tried to open another bottle to try & with all my might could not get the cork out. Then it broke away leaving half the cork in the bottle. This happened with a few more out of different boxes. Ring the company to advise corks are dried out & breaking off in the bottle. To their credit they offered to return all bottles. Aust. Post will ring me in the next few days to pick up. Two weeks later and after phone calls to Just wines, the wine which sat at my front door had been picked up. It is now going on 2 weeks and still No refund. No answer to my emails or call back from the supervisor.
If this is the service you offer to new clients who spend over $700.00 on their 1st order then don't expect any more orders from me!11

We had a small issue with a wine and we had to return it. The response was excellent and Sarah Lee very professional and helpful. I am a very satisfied customer.

I left a negative review on this site, which I have deleted, as I realised that the company I was complaining about making harassing sales phone calls was not Just Wines, but another company (the Wine Club). I do apologise to Just Wines and will say that the one purchase I made from them was delivered promptly, was great value and was as advertised.

My contact understands my preferences and puts together very reasonably priced packages for our family's enjoyment. I have have tried other services but find Just Wines the best. Deliveries are efficient.

I always rely on Just Wines to offer me great wines at excellent prices. Also the phone help you receive when needed is also top rate. Delivery is always prompt and reliable. Great company.

The courier didn't follow delivery the instructions properly. However their office advised the courier of my complaint & phoned me to apologise.

Recently I had the pleasure of dealing with Aaron Smith in customer service and he resolved the matter quickly and with such good grace that has left me with an even more positive impression toward the company in general.
