I engaged Kaamwalibai.com for providing a domestic maid as per my specific requirement of part-time for 12 hours in Charni Road, Mumbai. Before making the payment, I clearly informed the company about my requirements and location. The company represented that they had a suitable candidate available for my requirement and accordingly persuaded me to make an advance payment of Rs, 9,000/- being 50% of the agreed charges. As per the agreement entered into with the company, a suitable maid was to be provided within 7 business days. However, the company failed to provide any suitable maid within the agreed period. Instead of providing a maid as per my requirement, the company repeatedly pressured me to hire a 24-hour maid, which was not my requirement. I have repeatedly contacted the company and requested cancellation of the service and refund of my payment. However, despite more than one month having passed, the company has neither provided the agreed service nor refunded my money. I consider this to be a deficiency in service and failure to fulfil the agreed terms, as well as unfair conduct in taking payment after representing that a suitable candidate was available.

**Very disappointing experience – requirement not fulfilled despite advance payment**

I registered with Kaamwalibais.com on 20 August 2026 for a full-time domestic helper and paid ₹12,980 as the 50% registration payment.

My requirements were clearly discussed with their Executive Assistant, Yasmine Shaikh. I needed someone who could cook South Indian dishes, handle household cleaning and spend some time talking to and keeping my mother engaged. I had informed them that I needed the helper by 4 September 2026, subject to screening and my interview.

Before making the payment, I was given a written WhatsApp assurance:

“Incase we are not able to full fill your needs we will refund.”

I relied on this assurance and made the payment.

Unfortunately, as of 17 September 2026, my requirement has still not been fulfilled. Only around 2–3 profiles per week were being shared with me. I interviewed the candidates provided, but I did not find them suitable for the requirements I had communicated. Some candidates also struggled with basic everyday money calculations during the telephonic interaction, which raised concerns for me about their suitability.

What disappointed me further was being told that I should have selected one of the candidates they provided. In my view, paying a placement agency does not mean a customer should be expected to employ a candidate simply because a profile has been forwarded. A full-time domestic helper works closely with the family inside the home, so suitability matters.

The agency has also taken the position that since they are continuing to screen candidates, they cannot currently provide a refund. This is particularly disappointing because I have the **written WhatsApp message assuring a refund if they are unable to fulfil my needs, and that assurance was given before I made the registration payment.

I am still giving the agency an opportunity to resolve the matter fairly: either provide a properly screened and suitable helper meeting the requirements within a reasonable final timeframe, or refund my ₹12,980 as assured.

I am sharing this review based on my personal experience and the communications I have retained. I will be happy to update this review if Kaamwalibais.com resolves the matter satisfactorily.

As things stand today, I am extremely disappointed with the service and the handling of my refund request.

They tell nannies to lie about experience even if they are applying for jobs for infant care where we expect someone who knows to do the job carefully and sincerely

who probably worked as a maid in Dubai to take care of my infant child
Asked her to lie that she went through their agency to Dubai , and has experience in childcare
The lady had to be trained by my previous nanny in basics like how to hold a child
Plus she used to keep crying saying she’s home sick , we told her she’s free to leave amd asked the agency for a replacement
They asked her to lie Again saying she ll continue the work so that we pay them the complete brokerage
The nannies are also trained to lie by these criminals
Certainly not trained by them for the job
The agency then takes all the nanny’s one month salary and then disappear and refuse to pay them anything even if we end the contract with them within a few days after realising both agency and nannies are lying

SCAMMERS! FRAUD ALERT!
I am writing this review, after 3 months of giving Kaamwalibais.com benefit of doubt. I didn’t want to be hasty in posting a negative review. But they don’t deserve it. Pathetic service!
Do not opt for Kaamwalibai, its not at a professional service company. I had opted for their service on 9th of May and it is 15th Aug today, not a single maid has been provided till date. I have been nothing but patient with them giving all the time to find a good maid. They made fake promises to coax you into opting for their service. Sonal precisely will talk to you very sweetly, convincing and assuring that not to worry they will be our point of contact and there will be no issues in finding good maids and they will handle all maid issues. I made the requested timely payment of 7000 Rupees and dropped atleast 10 emails. the team is so unprofessional, exactly like maids, that they will ghost you. If you reach out via phone, they will say they will call back, like Sania and Shilpa promised they will call back. And no one has bothered to call. My 7000 Rs has gone in the drain and no maid provided.
Please think multiple times before opting for Kaamwalibai, you will face same ghosting issues like how maids do. So might as well opt for a different maid service.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Beware Before Paying

Before receiving payment, the representatives (Agent Monika - +919819043480 and Vaishnavi from the service team) called and messaged me repeatedly, assuring me that they would quickly provide a suitable helper for household chores and elderly care. However, the experience changed completely once the payment was made.

I paid ₹10,000 as the agency fee. Over the next 10 days, only four profiles were shared, and the same profiles kept getting repeated despite my clearly communicating that they did not match my requirements. With no better options available, I interviewed two candidates.

The first candidate looked completely different from the photograph that had been shared, making me question the authenticity of the profile. The second candidate also did not meet the requirements we had discussed. Instead of providing suitable alternatives, I was repeatedly asked to wait, while I was given multiple assurances that more profiles and interviews would be arranged. Unfortunately, those promises were never fulfilled, resulting in a significant waste of time and effort.

When I finally requested a refund because the agency had failed to provide the promised service, my concerns were dismissed, and I was instead blamed for the situation rather than offered a resolution.

I found the service to be highly unprofessional, with poor communication, repeated false assurances, and inadequate customer support after payment.

I would advise others to exercise caution, ask detailed questions about the agency's process, and avoid making advance payments unless you are confident they can genuinely deliver the service promised.

I'm sharing my personal experience to help others stay cautious.

A maid was sent to my home without proper verification. After working with us for about eight months, she stole valuables from my house.

Please don't blindly trust any maid or agency. Always ensure proper police verification, identity verification, and background checks before hiring anyone. Your family's safety and security should always come first.

Super honest review for this scammer company. Guys do not fall for this company ever. Do not contact them or pay them single penny, rather go for word of mouth or some other reputed agency. We have being suffering since 1 month for a nanny. We paid our renewal fees when they asked, at that time they were super sweet and in 1 month they have being sending maids, dog care takers, etc. saying that they are experienced nanny. Super unhygienic people they have sent us and with zero basic knowledge, forget about nanny experience. And now when we are asking for a refund through mail and WhatsApp group they are saying they can't refund, complete fraud and scammers. I would like to file a case in andheri police station and also in consumer court regarding the same. Best part is when we call them they dont pick up calls and stop replying on mails also. It is very difficult to communicate and last option remain is to visit their Andheri office, but that is not the solution because they just say they will provide service but they never do. I am writing to you to highlight wrongdoings and fraud perpetrated by your team members which you may or may not be aware of. Facts of case is as under.

1) We have paid advance to avail service for maid and agreement was your team will help to find maids to our satisfaction in time bound manner with your team focul point of connect.

2) Long ago your team provided profile of four CV our of which one didn’t want to do baby work, one we rejected because of maid age and other two we rejected because of skill set. Inappropriate profiles were submitted and immediately my wife did revert.

3) Last many week many conversation is done with Kavita and Reshma to immediately get profiles due to urgency for which we paid. Several conversation but to results as they adamant we have provided profile select from that and profile will take time. There are not pipeline of profiles. This was agains our agreement.

4) To address this we called to address our grievances where your team have alleged we take maid of other (illegal) acrivities which is grossly incorrect and would urge your team te refraain from doing this.

In entire process only selected conversation get re corded which isn’t legal as per applicable laws. There are numerous conversation which isn’t recorded and wrongly potrayed. Focul point never get discuss about serving client.

I was trying to contact your in varied ways as many conversation with your team including Aarti what transpired and if you not aware of this fraud you can be made aware.

So fraud scheme is simple take money provide fee profiles and your team said work done and when we escalate they put allegation on us and take conversation to another tangent.

We are 100 percent sure we don’t need your service and our put our baby in wrong hand and hence request complete refund. And more than money I would like to call you to see what’s transpire tithing your team. And it’s important consumer at large should be aware of this so people can stop connecting with some of your staff or your portal. Many grievances similar to this already there but people at large aren’t aware of this.

They could get the maid to work at our place very fast after initial registration. Then once the full payment was made, soon the maid disappeared. After that they simply kept making hollow promises, but did not arrange any replacement. Not sure but it appears like this industry is playing racket of cheating customers and making some quick money.

kaamwalibais.com has been known to take deposits from clients and deliver no service or very shabby service. When requested they return the deposit for zero service, they get agitated and argumentative. This business is a scam. It has been cheating seniors of their upfront paid up money with large delays and providing maids that do not meet requirements. They have usurped lakhs of rupees in deposits. They hound you till you pay this deposit. No other maid service even asks for one. Then they pretend to do some work and when cornered, stop interacting or send lengthy recorded messages, wasting your time and eventually pocket a clients money. Its a scam company thay needs to be avoided and investigated at all costs. This company is a scam and needs to be reported to the police. There is a woman there by the name of Saniya. She seems to direct the scam amd is very convincing and smooth tongued till you okay rhe money. Once the money is paid, good luck getting anything back. Its easier to recruit a maid from your building watchman or security service or even Snabbit. By all means please complain to the police about this company.

[Customer ID 15923] Do not use this company! It is a scam, plain and simple! They offer low rates for cleaners, saying that for sure they will be able to supply a cleaner within a few days of signing a contract. After signing, to be sure, your cleaner will never come. After that, when you want a refund they will never give it. So, avoid and do not use.

I paid ₹9,000 in December 2025 as an advance for maid profiling services. Despite repeated follow‑ups for over 15 days, not a single maid profile was shared by Sonal or Reshma Shaikh.

The company had initially assured that the amount would be refunded if the service was not provided.

After 18 days from the date of admission, the following candidates were sent, none of whom worked as committed:


• Snehal attended work for only 2 days.
• Renuka Jattended work for only 1 day.
• Sandhya attended work for only 3 days.

This level of service is completely unacceptable.
All three candidates were assigned by the company and were sent only to collect the remaining payment, with no genuine intention to work.
The total amount paid by me is ₹18,000.

There was no agreement for a day‑to‑day salary arrangement.
None of the candidates fulfilled the committed terms of employment.


As the service promised has not been delivered

At present, the company is not refunding the money, is not responding to calls, and remains completely unresponsive despite repeated attempts to contact them.

This is not a professional service; it is a calculated scam designed to prey on parents.

We paid a massive ₹30,000 brokerage fee, expecting a trained professional. Instead, they sent someone who had absolutely no clue how to handle a baby, posing a genuine safety risk.

The Scam Pattern:

The Bait: They promise "verified" and "experienced" staff to collect your money.

The Switch: They send an untrained worker who is clearly not fit for the job.

The Ghosting: The moment we requested a replacement (as per their "contract"), they stopped answering our calls and messages entirely.

The Result: The nanny has now walked out, our money is gone, and the agency has vanished.

This company has caused our family significant financial loss and mental stress beyond measure. They take advantage of the vulnerability of working parents. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to throw your money away and compromise your peace of mind.

I will be pursuing legal action and reporting them to the consumer forum

I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the services of Kaamwalibais.com. I paid them more than half , for their maid agency services, but they failed to deliver. When I asked for a refund, they became initially unresponsive and finally eve after many calls and emails refused to return my money.

I WANTED A FULL TIME MAID FOR ALL HOUSEHOLD WORK.I MMEDIATELY GOT A CALL FROM THE COMAPNY  AND QUOTED 25000/-SALARY FOR THE MAID AND THEY TOOK 25000/-AS THEIR SERVICE CHARGE.

Kaamwaalibai company arranged a maid for me last yr, everything was going good till 1 day I got a call from their verification department for verifying the maid, I got into their scam and paid 3500, till 2 months there was no verification report from their end i complained thru all channels and when I asked them for a refund they made me wait for 2 weeks, and in return I didn't get a refund but a false copied paste report, and now they aren't picking my calls bcoz what they have done is scammed a customer. Please don't go for this scam verification calls just neglect it instead just go to the police stn in your area and get it verified. Don't go for any extra facilities they provide, money making schemes.
