This is a scam

This is a scam, DO NOT USE! They don't allow you to cancel the subscription and their customer service is just an automated bot that gives the same response to every e-mail. I tried to cancel my subscription, which I took for just a month during my vacation, and I am unable to cancel it. The only response I get from them is an automated message that they will extend my subscription with 3 months, unrelated completely to my request. There is no way to cancel the subscription within the app.

Kami Cloud/Yi Home is a SCAM! Run away!

In 2024, I made the mistake of signing up for a free trial for video to be saved for later review. When I tried to cancel, I was unfortunately past the window for cancellation so was charged $99.99 for an annual fee. April 2025 when I tried to cancel the subscription (within designated cancellation window in order to receive refund), it was a constant back and forth on the app over several days. Numerous offers for free cameras, discounted service, extension of contract for free. There was no phone number to get in touch with a real person despite my request. Ultimately, my subscription was not canceled, and I was charged another annual fee of $99.99 with an unwanted extension of subscription window for "no cost" and a guarantee of subscription to end and auto renewal to be cancelled April 2026. My inquiry was closed initially prior to resolution, and I had to reopen another inquiry to reach this supposed agreement. April 8, 2026, I noticed a debit of $99.99 for another year of service. When I again contacted customer service through the app to request refund and definitive cancellation as previously agreed upon last year, I was again bombarded with multiple offers for free services, half of the refund of the subscription fee. After I realized that I may not get anywhere once again, I finally contacted my bank to inquire about a dispute. The customer service representative closed my case stating they can no longer handle this matter since I filed a dispute. I was instructed to contact my bank to inquire about the processing result. Now only choice is try to get my money back through the bank and to cancel my debit card to make sure that this does not happen again next year.

Absolute bag of crap

Absolute bag of crap. It started OK but after a year or so it has become almost unusable due to ridiculous amount of confounded adverts, that even cover up the settings and control pages. Do not waste your money on this shite. I’m so angry! It is painfully obvious I don’t want to subscribe to the rip off cloud service, so allow me to minimise the adverts so I can at least use the camera again. I don’t mind the occasional one, but to render the camera useless is just not on.

NON FATELO

Sono delinquenti. Provano ad addebitarti più volte lo stesso canone, danno e-mail che non possono ricevere corrispondenza, tentano di non restituire i soldi. Per me ci sono gli estremi della truffa e mi rivolgerò alla Polizia postale. Seguirà denuncia per truffa. Vedremo se continuano a fare così.

Been using their cameras for years have over a dozen but now almost totally useless unless you sign up for cloud services. Latest trick is to bombard the app with adverts, then have a 90 second viewing window and the feed stops. Total ripoff now.

Dont use this company.. You cant get out of subscription again. Cancel sub Don't work and no contact to company. I had to close my credit card to avoid payment. Never again

Adware: avoid

I bought 7 Kami/Yi cameras from Amazon, which are all basically landfill now. Their app spams you with 30 second adverts *every* time you want to check a camera, and they lock you into subscription models (I had to get Google to get me out of my trial). Initially good, but now scammers. Avoid.

Esta compañía es una estafadora

Esta compañía es una estafadora. Te vende las cámaras con unas prestaciones y luego las restringe para cobrar suscripción. O le pagas la suscripción o tienes que ver anuncios cada vez que entras en su aplicación (a veces por minutos) y aunque quieras entrar a ver la cámara, no puedes hasta que terminan los anuncios. Después, mientras estás viendo la imagen, a veces se corta y te meten anuncios. Venden cámaras con la marca Yi Home o Yi IoT. No es recomendable. Si compras, te arrepentirás.

Da scansare più della peste, LADRI

Acquisto videocamere su Amazon, prodotto secondo le aspettative, poi faccio abbonamento al loro cloud per un mese, qui iniziano i problemi: per un errore di browser sottoscrivo stesso abbonamento 4 volte, quindi pagando 4 volte, mi accorgo dell’errore dopo un paio di gg e chiedo il rimborso di 3 abbonamenti, la loro prima risposta è un tentativo di vendermi un prolungamento dell’abbonamento al cloud, rispondo che non mi occorre e insisto con richiesta di refund, seconda risposta è che fin quando gli abbonamenti sono attivi non possono rimborsare, dopo varie e-mail e loro vaghe risposte senza senso, si accorgono dell’errore e mi propongono un rimborso di 2 abbonamenti più un prolungamento di un altro mese, stufo di tutta la storia accetto mio malgrado per chiudere la questione, mi dicono di scrivere ad altro reparto. Riporto in questa e-mail tutto e richiedo rimborso, prima mi chiedono i dettagli dei miei pagamenti, e poi mi dicono che non possono rimborsare fin quando gli abbonamenti sono attivi, ma gli abbonamenti faccio notare non sono più attivi da 2 settimane, e loro continuano a dire di non poter rimborsare. Oggi stanco di tutta questa storia gli scrivo che sono ridicoli oltre a essere LADRI, sto passando il tutto al mio legale, a associazione consumatori e scriverò su tutti i social.
