Ordering experience has been a nightmare
I ordered a replacement part (trunk) for the Eden cat tree back on 10/6/24. At the time I ordered, the item stated it was in stock and would ship within 24-48 hours. It is now 10/29/24 and I still haven't received even a shipping confirmation, let alone the item itself. I keep getting the run-around from their customer support (BTW - you can ONLY contact them via email... there is no chat or call options on their website which I find insanely frustrating). The one and only communication I've received thus far was back on 10/21, and it was a response (via my email to them) giving a very generic reference to shipping "issues" and stating that my item would ship out in 5-7 business days. Despite me explicitly asking the reason for the delay, they offered no actual explanation and we are now 7 business days later and I still have not received shipping confirmation, further contact from the company, etc.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed in this entire transaction/experience. As of today, 10/29, their website still states that the part in question will ship within 24-48 hours (which I find extremely hard to believe at this point). Not only that, but I have a $400ish cat tree that's been unsafe to be used for almost a month at this point because the company who sold it to me can't get it together and ship out the replacement part I ordered in any sort of a timely fashion.
I have had to utilize their customer service in the past with other orders and have had good (read: timely) experiences with them, so I'm not sure why things have done a 180 this time around. I will more than likely not ever buy something from this company again after this experience. The extreme delays and lack of transparency have left a sour taste in my mouth.
