There’s was only one instant coffee and it’s now ruined! Why would you do that??!

The new Kenco smooth has been ruined. The taste is more bitter and the coffee does not disolve leaving a brown sludge at the bottom of the cup.
I've been drinking this for many years and iam looking to change brands.

The new instant rich kenco blend coffee is awful.

I’ve bought and enjoyed Kenko rich instant coffee for many years but not anymore.

The jar I have just purchased is that awful is going in the dustbin, waste of my hard earned money 😢

We have been buying Kenco Rich for years but OMG what has happened!!! The sludge at the bottom of the cup is absolutely awful. We will be moving on to another brand immediately because this is disgusting. No thank you, especially with the smaller jar and same price etc.

I have drank Kenco coffee for years, but it is now horrible with all the sludge and scum! I’m definitely changing brands!!

I’ve been drinking this coffee for a while and just bought the reduced amount at a higher cost,
This stuff is nasty, the sludge residue at the bottom of the cup is bitter and has put me off totally. So, I’ll be recommending a different coffee at work, I cannot drink this stuff. Smooth? No, bitter as hell.

This used to be my coffee of choice, but the last two purchases have driven me away. When first made, the coffee tastes normal, but within a couple of minutes, there is a gritty, bitter layer forming at the bottom of the cup. It's not something you would like to offer someone a cup of. Why would you want to explain to someone why you are offering them what seems like cheap junk? The jars are also getting smaller. That I get, the cost of everything is going up. But poor quality at the same price point is not acceptable.

Loyal consumer over many years. The change of recipe is very much detrimental to the Brand. Doesn’t taste as well, silt in the bottom of the cup and around the top! Will change to another brand if no possibility of reversal!

I have always loved kenco smooth I buy A large jar a week and unfortunately after the change where it leaves powder around the cup I do not like it.. I'm now looking for an alternative

Kenco blue, Used to be the only coffee i drunk!
Now the taste has completely changed, and now tastes disgusting, completely undrinkable
It does not desolves,
It leaves 'muddy slush' in the cup.
Kenco, gives the most stupid comment of improved flavour
And reduced the jar size!!
To me it feels its all for profit before quality

it doesn't tats good, it doesn't dissolve well, and what's with the residue???

I have purchased Kenco Smooth and Decaffeinated coffee for many years, but I was very disappointed with my most recent purchase. The taste appears to have changed significantly, and the coffee now leaves an unpleasant residue in the cup. I will unfortunately not be purchasing this product again.

Kenco What have you done!
You have totally ruined what was the best tasting instant coffee available and replaced it with a weak sludge laden budget supermarket version that doesn’t have the bite it once had. Heads should roll for this decision!!
Hopefully you will see sense and switch back to a product that wasn’t broken and stood head and shoulders above anything else.
First you try to seduce us with a spangly new jar but reduce the amount of coffee for the same price and now kick us while we are down with this inferior rubbish in the jar.
Please see sense and revert back to the previous recipe I will not be buying another jar until you do!!

I've bought Kenco decaf for a long time having tried various other instant coffees. First World problem I know, but today it was blurgh what's this!? It tastes completely different to usual, like a cheap supermarket own brand. I checked and found they have deliberately changed the formulation. Well all I can say as one of Kenco's loyal customers is that they'd better change it back again pronto or I for one will be voting with my feet. It's put me off instant altogether! We'll stick to the real stuff.

Absolutely disgusting stuff..This used to be our go to coffee..now it’s not going to be bought again until it gets reverted back to the original recipe!
What on earth has Kenco done..not only does it leave a disgusting coffee sludge at the bottom of your mug,it tastes like cheap mellow birds chicory crap…
Cutting corners by adding cheap ingredients and keeping the price the same and reducing the jar by 10g isn’t the smartest thing Kenco have done and by the looks of these reviews I’m not alone in thinking that..
You’ve lost a loyal customer of 20 years..I have one jar left in the cupboard and it will not be replaced by more of your rubbish..im off to look for a new brand..Thanks Kenco. Bunch of Herberts!!!

Horrible muddy residue leftover at the bottom of the mug.
After drinking kenco for years, I am now changing brand.

The new coffee leaves residue and taste appears to have changed too. I've drunk thus for years and wouldn't drink any other instant now I am looking for a new coffee sorry but not sorry.

I have been buying kenco coffee for years do not like the taste or the black residue it leaves in the bottom of the cup now will not be buying any more untill it is changed back I have 3 jars in my cupboard which I buy in bulk now in the bin

What have Kenco done? We've drunk Kenco Rich for years but now we are having to change our brand due to its taste and sludgy residue it leave in your cup. Come on Kenco your better than this sort out your blends otherwise more and more people will go off your coffee. Even thought you've introduced new jars the coffee should be the same the high quality we've all been use to. Do you want to lose sales?

I have been a Kenco drinker for many years but now have switched brand. The new taste is weaker and leaves a nasty sludge in the bottom of the cup. Why companies treat valued customers like this is beyond me. Leave things alone if its not broken. Reading other reviews, I am not the only one either. You'll end up losing far more than you actually tried to save.
