Ordered a French door to replace old one, quick delivery fitted perfectly. The quality was excellent with minimal adjustment. Kents are always a pleasure to deal with, service is second to none.

What can I say the goods arrived on time, they were well protected, delivery man what very helpful, and all round an excellent service.
Have fitted the boards and they look great. Will be purchasing more in the near future for the rest of my garden

When I ordered the long length of plastic skirting on 27th March they advised it was in stock but it would take until 6th April be delivered by courier. An extremely long time especially for the carriage cost paid.
Item was very well packed and arrived on the due date. No problems with the item supplied.

I was looking for a no / low maintenance alternative for a timber picket fence on a semi detached house that is undergoing full refurbishment, including new Upvc windows. Looking on line the picket style fence that Kent’s supply looked a good choice, not cheap compared to timber but when offset against the labour and materials required to prepare and paint white to match neighbouring properties, decided it was a good deal. Even better, I would not have to go back in three years and paint it all over again. I ordered two fence sections, two end posts and New England caps.

The components were delivered through a local company within in a few days. Fortunately, the driver noted that the bottom rails where supplied wrong and were fully morticed rather than in the upper surface only. Full marks for spotting the packing error and replacements arrived after the weekend.

I have built many timber fences over the years, but am new to pvc and although very straight forward instructions would have been very helpful in avoiding a basic error which is not obvious until you have made it! That is; the top rail has slightly different size mortice openings for the picket to pass through upper to underside. The larger one should go to the underside which provides a neat interference finish to the top, but alloows a little wriggle room to pass the picket through. Unfortunately, I did not find this out until the following day after concreting the posts in the ground and fitting the rails. Per chance I had got one right, the other wrong which is only obvious when you come to fit the picket. I managed to carefully remove and turn over the offending rail, but care is required so as not to damage the posts due to the locating lugs preventing the rails from pulling out in normal use. I used a couple of painter’s filler knives to compress each side of the rail and prize it out of the post.

Advice would have also been helpful with fixing the picket and post caps which are supplied as separate parts due to a number of interchangeable style options being available when ordering. I fixed mine in place with super glue supplied by my window installer.

Now the fence is finished it looks great and I am delighted with the result and normal installation time should be about the same as a similar style treated timber fence. If you know the above before hand, the installation is a breeze and I would have awarded five stars for both product and service if not for the lack of instructions.

Kents notice of delivery required personal receipt and signature. That's OK but the estimated delivery slot was 9 hours, from 0830 to 1730.
I ended up cancelling a complete day and waited till late evening for the delivery which was carried out by an efficient and polite driver. A 9 hour estimate is no good. Kents will have to sort their deliveries out. I'm afraid they'll not be delivering here again.

went to get plastic architrave from store following seeing it on line,they do not keep in stock,had to order it,it kame wronge,reorderd on line,paid for delivery,following day,phone call from store, unable to fulfil complete order,but will send what they have,paid for home delivery,phone call next day,order arrived at store,but damaged,will send rest of order next day &reorder damaged goods,rest of order deliverd but driver started to unload incorrect items,rang store,said it woul arrive next day before 10aw,did not turn up untill12am,
delivery charge & missing items credited to account,still waiting for voucher promised,

Fast delivery but one of the skirting lengths was damaged. The top edge of the skirting has split way.

No problem from the ordering to the delivery no need to pay extra postage was 2 days early delivered

I placed an order with this company, however they refuse to provide compensation for any damaged items unless they are signed for as damaged on delivery. This is a clear breach of consumer rights which gives purchasers a reasonable time to inspect goods before reporting them as damaged. When I questioned this they just cancelled my order - best outcome for me I think as this is a company looking out for itself before customers.

Your company was very helpful especially the staff in your Hereford branch. The only problem I had was that by ordering on line the products arrived on a carrier and wrapped up when unwrapped some of the under cladding boards where cracked on inspection probably not your fault but that of the carrier. When I ordered as the Hereford branch is only 25 miles away I thought the products would be delivered by them but that was my mistake.

My experience with Kent direct can not be faulted I have ordered from them a couple of times and called their customer services , they are friendly and very helpful , all round good service , if I need any thing else I will order from them again
