I also offer decorating, wall and floor tiling, laminate flooring installation, carpentry and other practical home improvement services. Kettering Handyman to the rescue
Kettering Handyman: Simon to the rescue!
Unfortunately, last year I was let down by a national company on an important appointment to put up a TV on my home studio wall. I’d packed everything up over a couple of days to make room for the work and they didn’t show, leaving me stuck and looking for an alternative.
This is where Simon aka “the Kettering Handyman”, came in and took on my rather tricky install at extremely short notice. Simon discussed my needs promptly, provided a price for the work before commencement, and arrived exactly when he said he would - even taking some trouble to work around my schedule.
The work was completed with minimal noise, with extremely high accuracy (and within very tight tolerances) and in my opinion went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, even staying a little longer to make every small adjustment I requested until I was fully satisfied.
Clearly Simon is a person who takes pride in his work and attention to detail, and clearly had the skill and experience to complete the job quickly and efficiently - with all work guaranteed and insured, with a very reasonable and affordable price tag.
Finally, Simon himself was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire job, being the perfect mix of both highly professional yet friendly. He even cleaned up all the debris and mess from his work and left the work area cleaner than he probably found it!
Nearly a year later and the TV installation is still perfect. Overall I have no hesitation whatsoever to highly recommend Kettering Handyman to anyone looking for any home improvement services. This was a tough job because of my exacting needs, and his wealth of knowledge and experience allowed him to make it look easy. If I need further work, I know exactly where to go from now on.

Garden Path
We contacted Simon for a quote to repair our garden path which was starting to decay , Simon suggested replacing all of the frame and boards as he suspected the decay was worse than we thought.
The price was exceptionally reasonable, and when we saw the remnants of the old frame it was clear Simon was more than right with his assessment,
The quality of the work that Simon completed on the replacement was outstanding, no snags , no mess and we were 100% happy with the value for money , we have already asked Simon to quote on another job so I’m certain we will be using his services again

Simon the Handyman... Brilliant!!!
Used Simon (Kettering Handyman) for first time to decorate a hallway & regrout a bathroom to help finish a bungalow update. Simon came to look at the job as well as assessing through WhatsApp. Really pleased with the work done, all work done probably and professionally, to a quality finish. Simon is always willing to give advice if asked, a pleasure to have around and do the work. Very hardworking and excellent service and price. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone.
