Have been with this company for a year…

Have been with this company for a year and had absolutely nothing but problems. Everytime I leave a bad review, they call me and blackmail me into removing the review! They keep cancelling my direct debit so then they cancel my customer bonus. I’m paying over £166 a month for two sims- literally just 2 SIM cards, it’s rediculous and an absolute rip off. DO NOT DEAL WITH This SCAMMING COMPANY. They are now trying to set up new review pages but it won’t work I’m afraid cos I will find them everytime and tell people what they really are.
I WANT THEM TO PAY ME MY CUSMER BONUS OWED!!!

If you want to be tied in to a 3 year…

If you want to be tied in to a 3 year contract that ends up more expensive than you could get anywhere else go for it, why O2 deal with them i cant imagine maybe Virgin will see them for the pushy overstated scam contract suppliers that they are !!

I would give no stars if I could

I would give no stars if I could. They have scammed me for over a year now. Trapped in a contract which they claimed would be £15 a month for it to be charging me £58. I cannot get a refund & they refuse to answer calls. The company owe me over £500. DO NOT sign a contract with these people.

Awful

These lot told me I would receive a free S24 and a cheaper contract, I got neither and the contract is more expensive, avoid these lot and don't give them a good review before you try like I did.

Absolute rip off

Absolute rip off. They didn’t reimburse me for my buy out from EE for 9 months after many calls. Even then they didn’t pay full amount.
They sold me the deal based on £21.50 discount/month. This arrived after 3 later after numerous calls. They stopped the payments after 12 months, only paid 9 months and said the deal had come to an end and wanted £1500 to buy my way out.
Do not touch.

A true scam company

A true scam company, when you leave after your contract is up, they “ loose “ your company phone number hoping you go back cap in hand to retrieve it and sign a new contract .A new supplier can’t get your original land line number handed over to them. You can spend hours listening to music before they cut you off. Ombudsman informed. Illegal practices going on. No chance of refunds on overcharging. Avoid Avoid.

Kinex are awful

Kinex are awful - I warn you against using them! Terrible communications, lots of mistakes that meant I was getting charged twice for months and complaining so many times to them with absolutely no result.

How bad can a Company be run so bad in communications

How bad can a communications company be run. With all new technology you still send letters out with We have been trying to get in touch with you about your account with us ? No specific reason to phone a number and when you do its pressing the keypad time, when you do answer it's we are busy and music which sounds like its on a cassette tape recorded back in the 70s. either the line goes dead or you sit there for 25 minutes waiting, this is not customers care. your prices since 2017 have increased so much your not even competitive in the marketplace you Automatically renew contracts in mid term ? i enquired when my contract was due to end i was told December 2024. I received a letter that it was in November 2024, 10 days after it was sent my list goes on and on the Company has changed its Name from Kinex to Clear Business but that does not make it perform any better . How can you bill a phone line for a full 31 days when a contract finished 21 days earlier. im so happy that i'm No longer with this provider if i could give you No Stars i would. further to my sorry state of affairs with this Company 3 Months down the line with a complaint of overcharging, i received money back but debit to my account that became a credit ? i'm still receiving Invoices for equipment and apps i haven't used since 9th November but they are taking the money from the money they owe Me just dont get involved with Clear business 3 months down the line and im still making phone calls and time wasted waiting for them to answer.

Our internet drops several times a day…

Our internet drops several times a day which takes out our phone lines as well. And sometimes we don’t realise so customers can’t contact us. I have spent around 60 hrs on the phone trying to resolve this and have come to the position of being told that it’s £1300 to leave or pay £125 for an engineer to come and assess my system (they aren’t having any more of my money. Also was promised because of my problems they would hold my bill at £45 last month £78 for no apparent reason and it’s been consistently random figures above. I have 9 months of a 3 year contract left with these cowboys and then will be leaving and never looking back. Problems started 12months in. I beg you to look else where if looking for telecoms. I would honestly give negative stars for this company if I could.

Amazing customer service

I spoke to Carl Heaps today who made my experience ordering my Business Broadband and Landline super quick, easy and efficient.
Going more than out of his way to help with problems with address’ on my end.
Couldn’t have been an easier process, I would definitely recommend to anyone.

They won't let you leave

Inherited connection with business address, have been trying to leave since the end of May. Although on the 'do not object list' , Objection raised every time new supplier tries to transfer electric. Apparently this is a technical error which seems to have no timescales and no explanation. It could be the fact that Kinex can then charge you out of contract rates and send you inflated estimated bills your expected to pay even though you have given them correct meter reads.
Customer services are polite but can only assure you it will be sorted.
Avoid this company there are much better ones out there who are far cheaper and more helpful.

Avoid. Appalling, appalling supplier

This company is shocking. I 'inherited' them when we bought our business from the previous owners/contract holders back in March 2021, covering utilities across two sites.

For the first 12 months they charged me not just for our own utilities but for those covering the AirBnB above our smaller premises, *despite* two very clear emails, one from me and one from the former business owner (who also owns the AirBnB), clearly stating which services and meters belonged to which account holder.

When I raised this, it took weeks for them to straighten out the problem, but they did eventually issue me with a refund for our overpayments. Fair enough? No, actually. It turns out that they removed *our* services and meters from our bill, whilst continuing to charge us for the AirBnB.

A couple of months later, when we realised their error, we told them about it. Only to be saddled with a massive bill for underpayment, none of which was our fault. Combined with a bailiff visit to our shop, where without realising, we'd fallen behind on our payments due to Kinex removing the wrong meters from our account.

So we entered into a 'payment plan', whereby we'd pay our monthly bills *plus* an extra £500 per month to cover the debt we'd unknowingly accrued due to their mistake. The problem was that the extra £500 wasn't an extra £500. They took completely random amounts from our bank account, sometimes £500 extra, sometimes over £1k extra. This led to huge cashflow problems for us as a small business and, inevitably, led to us missing a couple of payments because we simply hadn't budgeted for so much extra being taken over and above our stated monthly bill. As an aside, our monthly bills online only ever showed the actual bill amount and never gave us advance warning of exactly how much they were planning to take.

Fast forward to today (July 2024). We're still beholden to this absolute shower of a company due to their own mistakes, their own poor communication and their own determination to recover their money at all costs, irrespective of the harm this has done to our small business.

They have today 'suspended' our Broadband, giving us huge problems in that this knocks our card machines out and forces us to lose business and revenue. I am told that unless I pay them a 'substantial' amount, I will not get my Broadband back. But with no Broadband we can't raise the revenue to pay them anywhere near the astronomical sums they're asking.

Apparently I am now in this position because I didn't respond to attempts to contact me. Well, this is a business which spams me multiple times a week from various 0161 numbers, trying to get me to move yet more services over to them. In addition to which, I am highly stressed, partly as a result of the various times they have practically emptied our business account with no warning, and have been out of action on medical grounds for some time. This cuts no ice with them. In short, it's 'pay up' (from funds we simply don't have), or get cut off. Zero sympathy. Zero empathy. Zero recognition of the various mistakes on THEIR part which have put us in an impossible financial situation.

Clear Business (formally Kinex) are an absolute shower. I have entire email chains showing clearly where we've provided the correct information, only for them to get it wrong time and time again and then come down on us like a ton of bricks. Most recent contacts have claimed ignorance of these mistakes. And now they're screwing us over to the point at which we may well have to cease trading. Avoid. Avoid, at all costs. I will be speaking to the Ombudsman about their woeful incompetence and the catalogue of errors on their part which has pushed us to the brink.

The Leopardhas not changed it's spots!

Changing the name has not changed the appalling service one receives from this company. I have yet to actually find anything positive to say about them after 5 years!

Virtually impossible to move services…

Virtually impossible to move services away from this company. They put in objections to transfers in, while running up our bills to them.
Avoid at all costs.

I m gona give up my business just coz of them I'cant sleep funking I have paid how much was outstanding what another over 3 thousand for .I funking sit and cry coz of stress they giving me .please folk stay away !!!! Stay away if you don't wanna kill yourself
