Live round the corner to this kennels and can hear constant barking through out the night and morning. Christmas Day they were barking all morning and clearly no one has been in to feed them or look after them. Can hear the dogs are stressed or needing food as constant barking for hours on end.
Never use this cattery it's a rubbish . I put my cat there going on holiday and I felt really guilty . Lucky my sister could look after as she was out of hospital . I picked my cat within an hour . The cattery was empty and I still didn't get a refund . Your cat will die by the time you get back . It's a rubbish
This review is about Kingstown Kennel in Billericay CM 11 2XE. I have chosen this kennel because it is closest to where i live and because it has Basildon Council accreditation. Also the kennel claim they breed German shepherds so i thought they have a lot of experience with the breed.
After 9 days of stay my two German Shepherds were traumatised. One of them is very cautious around me - i have never had this experience before with my own dog. Also my dogs were very stiff they could not run properly on the first walk i took them after they returned home. I booked large kennel space - i have no idea what happen and how they were kept and treated. My other dog has scratched nose - what happen there that she has her nose scratched like that. She hasn't done it before. When i was in Greece i called the kennel and asked about my dogs. The man told me the dogs are happy and eating well. My dogs clearly were not happy and they were not eating well as they lost weight. I have been googling about reviews but i can not find any reviews on this kennel. I have sent an email to the kannel with my feedback and concerns i also asked to cancel my booking for July. I received replied confirming that the booking was cancelled but he didnt provide any explanation or apologies - they completely dont care and can not be bothered. When i was leaving my dogs i asked if they have cameras. The reply was that they dont have cameras as they do not need them - very convenient for them. I placed a complain with Basildon Council hopefully they will investigate. If you had similar experience please place complain to Basildon Council. Kingstown Kennel is licenced with Basildon Council.
