Ich hatte Anfangs Schwierigkeiten und Fragen. Die wurden aber gelöst und beantwortet selbst nach längerer Zeit war bei Fragen der Support mega nett . Ich kann nur gutes über Kitex sprechen und würde dort wieder ein Produkt kaufen

All questions were answered. The video instructions were most helpful. For sure skilled engineers designed the turbine.
The socket and ratchet may not be the best for planting the anchors. I have been using an impact driver. Easier on an old man's back and gets closer to the 65 degree angle.

Wow hvor er det vildt, så meget flot, kvalitetstøj de har hos Kitex. Jeg havde aldrig været der før, men jeg kommer helt sikkert retur. Kvalitetstøj til fornuftig pris og kæmpe udvalg i alle størrelser.

As long as you have reliable & consistent wind conditions (this should go without saying!) where you plan to use it, this is a cool, innovative wind power solution, portable enough for use in various locations for just a couple days at a time, or for a semi-permanent deployment as a supplement to solar power.

Hello . Anchors are

I bought a KiteX about 2 months ago and was very excited to have it erected just over a month ago.

However 5 days ago in relatively mild winds one of the turbine blades sheared off and the rest of the blades became a tangled mess.

I took pictures and footage of the now broken Kite X and advised then that I wanted to return it for an refund.

They have kindly got in contact to advise that my refund will be issued and how to dispose of the Kite X wind turbine.

I have found the staff at Kite X to be very helpful and wish them all the best for the future

Man må tage hatten af for Kite X teamet. Det er noget af en bedrift at lave en pitch-kontrolleret vindmølle der kan være i to tasker og ikke vejer mere end 12 kg.

These folks are deeply committed to portable wind power! They have worked hard to create a great solution and it shows in every interaction I've had with them.

Tested a wind catcher over a weekend. It was fun to set up and we were able to fully charge our Jackery 1000 pro power plant overnight.
The wind cacher at only 12 kg is easy to transport and I am impressed that it is fairly easy to set up and very quick to take down.
It is incredible that the wind catcher holds up to the forces involved - we had 10 -20 m/sec. I liked the test/click tool that they developed to check that the anchors can hold. I would recommend getting extra anchors if the ground is a bit soft.

Windcatcher was easy to set up, and it’s cool that you can track the power output live on your phone.

We use Jackery portable batteries while camping to recharge our electronics. Traditionally we use Solar panels for this, but came across the Kite-X project and liked the idea of being able to recharge our batteries using wind technology. I'll be honest at first the setup seems intimidating, but the documentation does a great job explaining how to assemble the wind turbine. Once you've done it a few times the setup and tear down process are simple. There are also cleats built-in for sotring and keeping guy-wires organized when storing. The system performs well in light to moderate winds and has served us well with a reliable charging system in sunny and overcast days.
