Scam company. I wish I checked these reviews before purchasing. Tried to return it, it’s been on a world tour and have had it returned to me. Doesn’t work, heap of junk and company gives you the run around. You’re better off throwing your money down the drain than giving it to this scam company.

I bought 3 trackers to use in luggage on impending overseas trip, one does not work. Reported the defect to Kotech & requested a replacement & offered to return the defective tag, they just keep sending emails that skirt the issue and request videos of the problem, Bottom line is:
Their products are crap, their service is non-existent and they just keep giving you the run-around! I would strongly advise not to deal with Kotech

Scam Alert -tried to return the smart ring that did not fit and was hit with a $55AUD charge for the return -these guys are scammers DONT GO NEAR THEM -I just donated $300AUD to them and will throw the cheap piece of junk in the bin 🥲

Ring does not charge or switch on. They keep dragging out communications instead of reducing as it is an outbound of box failure. Do not transact with this business. Scam.

It's a SCAM - Avoid.

Charged with no order confirmation, then forced to chase just to get basic order details. When I tried to return the unopened product within their 14-day policy, Kotech refused to provide a return address and instead kept changing the fees and conditions.

This made returning the item and getting a refund effectively impossible. Fortunately the Comm Bank were awesome and they refunded after I disputed the transaction.

Got the ring and it was great…for 2 weeks. Then it stopped charging so it’s basically useless. Company won’t give you a refund. They drag out communication then ask for videos and photos - how do I show that the ring it charging?? Don’t waste your money. Shit product and even worse service.

Kotech is a complete scam! Ring doesn’t charge properly. Requested a refund within the 14days. They asked for video and photos- all sent. No return communication and no return address provided. Do not buy!

0 stars. Vague, inconsistent or absent communication when trying to first exchange, then refund within the terms advertised on the Website, and consumer law. Rather than complete exchange, as per usual process, they requested an additional exorbitant amount to ship new items "to avoid repeated inconvenience"! Would not supply return shipping details or a contact number despite multiple requests. Do not buy from this sham company!!!

Purchased a smart ring as gift, which when fully charged lasted 48 hours.
After a few day charging became problematic.
Now ring wont charge.
Numerous e-mails to Kotech have seen their requests for images of charging supplied.
Demands for refund have been met for more requests for charging images already supplied.
I think I am dealing with AI or the John Cleese "Dead Parrot Sketch" writer.

Chinese scam company. Do not buy I repeat do not buy.

Poor product, falsely advertised, prolonged returns process, Process of partial refund very bad, still not refund received. They place the blame on the buyer when they falsely advertise goods. Photographs on their website are not what you get! Products come from China, very bad quality. This company is operating like a scam, recommend not to buy from them, find an alternative even at the extra cost.

The tracker is not compatible with android mobile devices. They are finding excuses not to refund.
even after providing a video and pictures, but still no refund of the money.

I received the ring after reading a fake review of 5 rings which posted this ring just behind the oura ring.

Wore it for a few days and all of the readings were so inaccurate compared to my Apple Watch and also actual medical equipment as I had to go to hospital in these days.

I requested a refund within the 14 days and told kotech the reason. They just brushed it off and said that each device will have different readings. I wore this to sleep last night and was awake for an hour in the middle of the night, this ring said 0% awake time last night.

This is a ripoff, it’s drop shipping with fancy marketing and a crappy product. They will also decline your refund request which is against Australian consumer law.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is an absolute disgrace and a complete scam. They make the return process deliberately impossible, endless emails, constant stalling, and zero accountability. After weeks of frustration, they had the audacity to tell me that I will be charged a 15% “refund handling fee,” on top of other extra shipping expenses. This is not a fair or transparent business practice.

Their behaviour is unethical, deceptive, and completely unacceptable. They hide behind vague policies to avoid responsibility and exploit customers who simply want a fair resolution.

Do not trust this company. Do not buy from them. Save yourself the stress and money, this business should be investigated.

The company is clearly selling products that they know do not work, in particular their smart rings which are total garbage. They also refuse to act on their own return/exchange/refund policy and when pressed they try and waste time asking for things that have no bearing on the issue to "troubleshoot" when all they are doing ia trying to string you along. The moment I called them out and asked for them to act by their own public policy they stopped replying.
Do not buy from these scammers.

The website is a scam. The products listed are AI generated and they don't adhere to consumer law regarding refunds, their policy states they will cancel and refund an order if done within 6 hours unless shipped prior. I ordered after being mislead, and then promptly cancelled my order within an hour of placing it, they responded to say my order was shipped immediately after I placed the order (it was shipped 2 days later, assuming it's even real shipping given it doesn't list the delivery address, it was only after they responded to my cancellation request). I continued to request a refund, and they responded "if it arrives you can return it"... IF?! It won't arrive, the product doesn't exist.
