Damaged Items and Terrible customer service

The team fitted curtains which were damaged and I am still waiting for them to be repaired. Saying it will take over a week.

The company also offered me a discount on future work and then when I tried to use the discount, went back on their word and said it was not available.

The customer service team are terrible.

I’m very satisfied with the work and…

I’m very satisfied with the work and service provided by this curtain company. From the beginning, the team was professional, attentive, and delivered exactly what was promised. The installation was done carefully and the final result exceeded my expectations.

The curtains look beautiful and really improved the overall appearance of the space. The quality, finishing, and attention to detail were excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great service and high-quality curtains.

The worst experience with a company in…

The worst experience with a company in UAE.
From start to end every step went wrongly, and the installation is not finished yet as they have to come back and redo the job.
1. Measures and order went smoothly
2. Product out of stock : hard to get simples answers weather it can be delivered or not.
3. We ask for refund as we understand they can not provide part of our order. Huge amount of discussion to get a refund of the correct amount.
4. Part of our order was supposed to be installed but came in the wrong color.
5. Day of the installation after correction of the color : wrong measures and default in one of the blinds (not straight).
6. So far, out of 2 blinds, one is too small and the other one has. manufacturing defect.
Let's see tomorrow what they 'll do.........

The worst experience with a UAE company

Definitely the worst experience I've had with a company in the UAE.

We made an appointment to have measurements taken several days in advance. We paid extra to have the installation done within two days.

Without any follow-up or contact from them, after sending them a message to find out when they would arrive at our house (we waited several hours), they told us that the appointment had been postponed by 4 to 5 days. We were NEVER informed of this. Luckily, I asked.

If you have a problem with this company, be aware that they will not find a solution for you, and you will never see your money again.

We are now living in a house without curtains, so it is impossible to sleep there. We are forced to stay in a hotel until another company comes, who found a solution for us in less than 24 hours.

They have terrible customer service, awful marketing via text, email, and WhatsApp, with messages every hour, even when we tell them to stop.

Now we're waiting for our money. Otherwise, we'll take this matter to the police.

Purchased blinds recently for my house…

Purchased blinds recently for my house however the measurements were incorrect on 4 windows causing my blackout blinds to not be blackout and getting stuck in the alcove every time I use them.

Trying to resolve this and the company is asking me for more money after ignoring me for 3 weeks. Requested management callback - nothing

It has been over 3 weeks,

During the initial visit I was assured the blinds would be blackout. I ordered a total of 14 blinds, the majority have an overlap on the side of 6.5cm, which provides adequate coverage. The 4 blinds that are not correct, sit within the window frame and have next to no overlap? It is the responsibility of your company representative to ensure there is consistency in the product provided. Furthermore the 4 blinds are too long due to not being measured correctly.

Additionally, the blinds have plastic clips holding the mechanism that opens/closes the blinds, this has fallen off on several of the blinds already. The blinds are less than 2 weeks old, this should not be happening.

I will be raising a case with DED since I haven’t received a callback from your management dispute you saying you will call me.

This has been one of the worst and most…

This has been one of the worst and most shocking customer experiences I’ve ever encountered in the UAE. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from Kurtains.

I was completely misled during the initial quote and assessment. Their representative assured me that the installation was fully possible based on my requirements. Trusting their professional opinion, I paid the requested 50% upfront.

But when the technicians arrived, they immediately explained that the installation was not possible at all because there was no electrical plug near the window — a basic detail any competent company should verify before taking payment.

Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, the company not only refused accountability, but also charged my card for the remaining balance, even though zero work was completed.

Since then, I’ve been fighting for weeks to obtain a refund of my own money. I have been passed around from one person to another with inconsistent excuses, delays, and empty promises. Someone inside this company clearly does not care at all about customers, about ethics, or about doing the right thing. Their behavior shows a shocking lack of respect and professionalism.

At this stage, I have initiated legal action to defend my rights and recover the amount they wrongfully keep holding. No customer should ever have to go through this level of stress, frustration, or financial uncertainty due to a company’s negligence and misleading practices.

If you value honesty, integrity, and basic fairness, stay away from Kurtains. They are extremely fast at taking your money, but painfully slow — or outright unwilling — to return it when they are clearly in the wrong. This has been a deeply disappointing experience that I would not wish on anyone.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience, from the moment we booked the first visit to the installation, everything went very smooth! What I like most is that the pricing was very transparent from the beginning compared to other suppliers. The curtains are amazing, the fabrics are high quality. Thank you Kurtains team for such a nice experience!
