Had a terrible experience here and now worried about victimisation from the people working here. Had a private hire license test done here with a very hostile examiner from the start who won’t even respond to my greetings from the start of the test, and remain hostile during the whole test. For example he gave me a direction I did not understand and I asked that to you mean straight on at the round about, he responded abruptly and rudely. He cited I went over by 5miles over the limit once which I didn’t see and also highlighted using my car reversing camera for reason for failing me despite not telling me this is not allowed on the test. I raised this issue and find the whole staff confrontation when I asked for their complaint procedure, with one of the staff member even rolling their eyes when I said I am council tax payer in this city and a higher band E One at that and should not be fob off when I have complaints about council services. I have been driving 18yrs with a totally clean license and I believe KWL approach is simply money grabbing, a gentleman there offered a retest free which I book for a Monday and now I am extremely worried about victimisation from this firm. I know I have route of complaint through my local mp and parliamentary ombudsman with hull city council and if I feel any victimisation I will simply rebook and consider money claim/county court with this shady organisation.

Ps I am the second person of colour who highlighted they had have same experience with this firm

Cancelled appointments for today with drs to get work done relaying of conrete slabs they drop six bags sand one cement dont think it be enough then about 11 am get xall job been cancelled as they booked job in for one man 2hrs and its going to be 2 men all day job considering im unsteady on feet and garding slabs uneven its a trip hazard so now have to wait till august congratulations on failing to sort a job out properly.

Terrible their gas fitter is not competent to do his job and the plasterer did half a job. I won't be letting them in again.

Absolute joke,fobbed off from the start,waiting in for jobs to be done that had been reported and nobody turned up,then told job had not been logged when I had the email saying it was,jobs which had been done looked like they have been done by a five year old,was booked the surveyor to come out,another morning off work wasted when they never turned up,again,

The worst company I have ever dealt with.... Shouldn't be council repairs.... Very unprofessional

Meant to have the 3rd of 5 appointments today between 8 &12 even received emails and txts as reminders...I thought it was going too well, took half a day of work to wait for the plasterer & guess what...suprise suprise NEVER TURNED UP ! this isn't the 1st time either, they must think nobody else works ! Oh and I've been ringing the number on the letter another joke, it just rings & rings till it rings off ! ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE COMPANY

The worst. Everything wrong in education. Can only get textbook on this site. Took weeks to arrive even though I paid for expedited shipping. Would not refund the shipping costs saying 'it's our busiest time of year'. So why offer the service and take people's money?

We've enjoyed working with KWL over a number of years and have always been impressed by their commitment to both their customers and their staff. Its great to see a successful local company making a positive impact through strong community ties.
