Leider können wir Lisa von Australian Cobberdogs Labradoodles aufgrund unserer persönlichen Erfahrungen nicht empfehlen.

Wir haben im Jahr 2020 einen Hund aus ihrer Zucht erworben und bereuen diese Entscheidung. Bereits nach der Zahlung der Anzahlung in Höhe von £500 war die Kommunikation sehr knapp. Informationen über die Würfe, die Entwicklung der Welpen oder eine mögliche Zuordnung erhielten wir kaum.

Nach etwa acht Wochen wurden wir kurzfristig telefonisch informiert, dass ein Welpe für uns verfügbar sei. Eine Beratung darüber, ob der Welpe charakterlich zu unserer Familie passt, fand aus unserer Sicht nicht statt. Auch über das Wesen und den Charakter des Welpen wurden uns keine aussagekräftigen Informationen gegeben.

Da wir in Deutschland wohnen und die Corona-Pandemie damals Reisen erschwerte, wurde der Welpe nach 15 Wochen über zwei Tagen per Auto zu uns transportiert. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass dieser Transport für einen so jungen Hund eine erhebliche Belastung (auch psychische) darstellte.

Unser Hund ist bis heute sehr zurückhaltend und introvertiert. Natürlich können wir nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, wodurch sich sein Wesen entwickelt hat. Dennoch hätten wir uns von einer verantwortungsvollen Zucht eine deutlich individuellere Auswahl des Welpen, mehr Transparenz und eine engere Begleitung gewünscht.

Besonders kritisch sehen wir außerdem, dass die Welpen nach unserer Erfahrung bereits im Alter von etwa sechs Wochen kastriert wurden. Aus unserer Sicht ist eine so frühe Kastration problematisch und kann sich nach Einschätzung vieler Tierärzte und Verhaltensfachleute negativ auf die körperliche und verhaltensbezogene Entwicklung eines Hundes auswirken. Hätten wir dies im Vorfeld gewusst, hätten wir uns gegen den Kauf entschieden.

Insgesamt entsprach der gesamte Ablauf – von der Kommunikation über die Vermittlung bis hin zur Nachbetreuung – nicht unseren Erwartungen an eine seriöse und verantwortungsvolle Zucht. Aus diesem Grund würden wir dort keinen Hund mehr kaufen und können den Züchter nicht empfehlen.

Two years ago I decided not to take a puppy after leaving a deposit. This was because the owners were not keeping in touch or responding to requests for info quickly. I asked for photos of the mum and babies a few times and did not get them. It all did not add up and I felt uncomfortable. They were responsive to giving back the deposit but found that the communication was frustrating and I wondered if there was a litter with no photos or videos.

I STRONGLY recommend not handing over any form of deposit to this company unless you are assured that there will be a puppy available within the time you want - I wish I had waited until it had been born. As the other reviewer said, this company takes your deposit eagerly and then doesn’t follow through Absolutely heartbroken at this and feel laughed at by Lisa at labradoodles. £500 worse off. Please check out carefully and cover yourself before you engage.

DO NOT TRUST Lisa and Grace from labradoodles.co.uk (also go by Dynamic Dogs Limited). We are a family based in the UK with a little boy age 4 with severe special needs / non verbal autism, we did a lot of research and were looking for the right breeder to assist us with adopting an Australian Cobberdog to train as a therapy dog for our son. This breeder advocates for this on their website and were very convincing about the services and support they can offer to help with training a dog, timing, understanding the process etc. After this, we made the decision to adopt paying over a sum of £500 deposit for a dog costing over £6000. After paying this deposit we very soon decided that due to our circumstances with our son changing rapidly and becoming very complex and with regards to his needs and care, this was not the right timing for us to adopt a puppy, it didn't feel fair to the puppy or our family. We explained this to Grace and Lisa and they went from being very helpful to cold and un-empathetic, they ignored our phone calls and emails. We are just left feeling very disappointed because a lot of pressure was put on us during the beginning stage to make a decision. We asked if given the circumstances not being typical that they could return our deposit, we were hoping to adopt in the future but this was not something we could put a timeframe on in the short term. We advised them ASAP and the puppy was days old. This breeder certainly should not be advocating as a trainer for helping special needs families or training assistance for therapy dogs for conditions such as autism. We were not time wasters we were serious, and we were also completing a training course with dogs for good autism charity in advance of this decision so it was not one to be taken lightly. My advice would be avoid this breeder and don't pay over any form of deposit.
