Landal resort Maria Alm besticht durch seine perfekte Lage, sowohl Sommer wie Winter. Apartments sind überkomplett ausgestattet, Restaursnt im Resort ist hervorragend, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit des Personals sehr gut und das Schwimmbad riesengroß. Sommer wie Winter gibt es für Groß und Klein zusätzliche attraktive Angebote mit Hotelshuttle inklusive. Das Resort ist absolut zu empfehlen, ob mit Kinder oder ohne, jeder kommt auf seine Rechnung.

Fantastische Unterkunft. Wenig zu beanstanden. Landal Resort Maria Alm ist jedoch so ziemlich die einzige Unterkunft in Maria Alm, die die Hochkönig-Card nicht anbietet. Es stand auch auf der Website, als wir letztes Jahr buchten. Nachdem wir dies in einer Bewertung gelesen hatten, kontaktierten wir den Kundenservice von Landal NL. Antwort: „Ich kann nichts dazu finden.“ Weitergeleitet an Landal Österreich (?). Sie sagten, sie hätten im November beschlossen, die Karte nicht mehr anzubieten. Das wurde uns nie mitgeteilt. Wir erhielten im Januar eine E-Mail, dass die Kurtaxe erhöht wurde und ob wir extra zahlen wollten. Wir reichten per E-Mail eine Beschwerde bei Landal NL ein. Bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. An der Rezeption sagte man uns, dass sie Alternativen anbieten, wie zum Beispiel einen VIP-Bus zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir entschieden uns trotzdem, mit dem Bus zur Vorderkaserklamm zu fahren. Als wir uns an der Rezeption meldeten, sagte man uns, dass der Busfahrer krank sei. Also fuhren wir mit dem Auto. Für den Preis, den Landal für diese Unterkunft verlangt, ist es eine Schande, dass die Hochkönig-Card nicht angeboten wird, vor allem angesichts der sehr begrenzten Alternativen. Wir werden jedenfalls nicht mehr ins Landal Resort Maria Alm fahren. Es gibt genügend schöne Unterkünfte in Maria Alm (und deutlich günstigere), die die Hochkönig Card anbieten. Landal versteht nicht viel von SERVICE. Schade.

In September 2024, we booked a holiday directly through your website at a Landal park in Austria, near Liechtenstein. In December 2024, we were informed that the original park would be affected by renovation works during our planned stay. As a result, and at significant additional cost, we rebooked to Landal Maria Alm.

Today (June 21, 2025), upon arrival at Landal Maria Alm, we were surprised to be informed that the Hochkönig Card is no longer included. This card was included last year and was one of the main reasons we chose to return to this park. As of today, multiple online sources – including the official Hochkönig Card website and various other channels – still state that the card is offered through Landal.

Your staff member Niek at reception informed us that we can pay €175 per person to still access the lifts – which amounts to €700 extra for our group of four. He also acknowledged that we are not the only guests raising this issue, but was unable to offer any solution. Likewise, your customer service is refusing to take responsibility.

We want to make it absolutely clear that we strongly disagree with how this situation has been handled. Landal has failed to fulfill its duty to inform customers. At no point prior to our arrival was it clearly communicated that the Hochkönig Card would no longer be included. Especially for customers booking directly with Landal – as we did – it is reasonable to expect that such essential changes are communicated clearly and in advance. The fact that multiple guests are complaining about the same issue at reception speaks volumes.

If no appropriate solution is offered, we will be forced to share our experience publicly via various review platforms and social media, and to seek legal advice. We are also considering filing a formal complaint with the Dutch Consumers’ Association and the European Consumer Centre (ECC Netherlands).

To anyone planning a stay at Landal GreenParks Maria Alm in the near future – be warned!

We have only positive words to say about landal hochmontafon. We were welcomed very well by their sweetest receptionist who was very welcoming. All relevant information was given on arrival and if you had doubts about the smallest things or sought other information, she was always helpful, which made us very safe on our holiday. When we had to go on to Zell am See the following week, she recommended a restaurant Yor Ribs which is one of the best restaurants we have visited. Thank you very much for the recommendation, definitely worth a visit

The holiday apartment was also perfectly fine with balconies so you could sit and enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains. All relevant equipment was available in the house and there was also a small starter pack with some soap, cloth and cleaning soap. It rains a lot in Austria, so it was nice to have a parking basement with direct access to the apartments

A really good experience and if we go to Austria again we will definitely book our holiday again at landal hochmontafon
