Intrinsic Value System Avis 15

I was initially drawn to Larry's newsletter because of the content of his YouTube channel and his practical and pragmatic viewpoint. Note that I have been investing for over a decade but I needed to get perspectives and in-depth analyses without spending a lot of my own time.
While Larry provides a perspective of current economic developments, he does tend to lean more towards the bearish gloom and doom side. I do not understand why he has to try to predict the future as he uses a lot of forward-looking statements and his personal views of what may happen which can mislead the inexperienced and uninitiated.
He has the usual basket of established US and Chinese stocks and he tries to predict levels using the usual technical tools. I do not think I got anything specific out of the ordinary for the price I paid.

I first started watching Larry in 2021 as my largest position was Alibaba and I loved his sober analysis for it. Having followed him and his strategy for 1.7 years or so, I have found him to be a very wise strategist. He has mostly been right, and quickly caught on in the things he has been wrong about. His overall macro direction thoughts have been very accurate in this timeframe. I trust Larry to be as free from bias as human investor can fathom. I don't see him pumping up stocks to get views (a popular youtube strategy) when he doesn't believe in that, and neither do I see him ever being a permabear who is dedicated to doom and gloom. His strategy is extremely even keeled and sober, and corresponds to actual fundamental economic realities at the time, and not his personal emotional leaning. A great example was his recent action with TSLA. He made a bet that TSLA would bounce from his levels, it failed to do so, and he cut his position at a loss. Why am I mentioning this as a positive? Because I don't see Larry making up fairytales about TSLA in order to double down through a sunk cost phallacy that most of us succumb to. There is possibly nothing more rare than an investor who is sober enough to quickly admit a mistake and move on without being affected by it. I think Larry will provide really strong macro strategy, be right about 75% of the time, and cut his mistakes quickly, which is why I trust him!

I’ve been part of Larry’s community for a few months now and I’ve been nothing but short of amazed by his ability to remain disciplined and provide accurate guidance during difficult times. He maps out his thought process that leads to his recommendation which inherently helps develop the way you personally view the market. Between his ‘Market Notes’, ‘Strategy Deck’, and ‘Research Dashboard Sheet’ the current price point is priced at an unbelievable value. Not to mention his knowledge regarding inflation and the Chinese market, he even breaks down key takeaways from FOMC meetings.
It's only a matter of time before his YouTube Channel hits the 1m subscriber mark, thank you Larry!

I’ve been using Larry’s service now for a few months. I watched and waited and digested his information slowly and he’s been quite accurate. I am a very disciplined investor and using his Strong Buy signals was able to get 5% to above 11% gains on swing trades this past week on LAM, Costco, JPM and a few more. His knowledge and insight on the Chinese sector has been amazing and I just entered a position on NIO today as it hit a strong buy price! Discipline is key. He gets back timely when you have questions. I look forward to the future moving forward with Larry and his team and I have no doubt I will continue to increase the size of my portfolio using his guidance!

I first came across Larry's Youtube channel late 2021 and immediately found him to be one of the rare strategists on most platforms. He preaches patience and risk management in his strategy which will help your returns improve consistently, rather than taking on speculative positions, in which returns cannot be repeated consistently.

I joined as a Patreon member of Larry's for a short 3 months and I regretted not having joined at the start of 2022, when I was caught in bull traps left and right in this treacherous bear market. Larry's analysis and service is one whereby it helps me to navigate the market, while helping me to grow into an intermediate investor with his detailed and insightful reports and 1:1 chat(which is a really nice touch by a strategist who knows his stuff and readily admits to what he does not know/ is unsure of, which I really respect this trait a lot).

Comparing his research to one from a sell-side, all I can say is Larry's research is much more accurate, easy to absorb(which must not have been easy putting that amount of knowledge and insights he has and summarising it) and actually helps one to grow if one wishes to.

Lastly, the value is unbelievable purely for the amount of guidance that Larry provides during this bear market in a timely and accurately manner, in addition to providing his research.

Bottomline is that Larry is the type of strategist we don't deserve at this kind of value.

Since subscribing to Larry's research, I have gained greater confidence and clarity in navigating the markets. His investment thesis and thinking is laid out in a clear, succinct manner with minimal technical jargon, which makes it extremely easy to digest. Timely bi-weekly updates allows the community to "ride shotgun" with Larry and observe the ebbs and flows of the market and take appropriate action when the moment arises.

I appreciate Larry’s level-headed and realistic approach to investing in the current climate. Whereas a lot of fun-tech influencers out there are adding more of the same noise, Larry’s strategy is grounded in thorough research and caters to the patient investor. I also appreciate the tactical short term plays he recommends.

High quality research with rapid updates. This investment community is 1000% worth the cost of entry. Thanks for helping me learn and stay current Larry!

I've been subscribed to Larry Cheung's investment community for half a year now and am impressed with the quality of research that is presented. It is extremely thorough, well thought out and differentiated to the average analyst on the Street. I've gravitated towards Larry's offerings because of this and will continue using in the foreseeable future. Larry also has a strong understanding on behavioural biases and uses that to help manage the emotional rollercoaster that markets can present to investors. I've felt more confident continuing to hold my positions in such a tough environment as Larry's logical thought process/conviction allows myself to remain calm.

Larry does the homework so you don't have to. I spend hours reviewing a small number of stocks. It's just not feasible to review more. Larry's coverage helps me participate in more that I would have otherwise left out. He's been on track with his reviews and give genuinely great advice.

I joined Larry’s investment community after finding him on Youtube talking about macro research on U.S. and China. Although his views were greatly contested by the public since he was advocating for Alibaba and China stocks during the zero covid lockdown, his opinion ended up being very correct and the market has since had China outperform. His community is filled with patient, long-term investors who are interested in learning and growing as analysts. I look forward to Larry’s Bi-Weekly updates and his monthly strategy decks to help me understand where the markets are going next.

Larry's Investment Community has continued to exceed my expectations. There are many times when I would rather read his research notes than Wall Street's sell-side research notes.

At its current price point, I've been blown away at the value his research has delivered. Not only is it timely, but its also accurate. I will say, you may need some prior knowledge of basic financial terms and concepts in order to fully utilize his research and insights.

I stumbled upon Larry during the China Education selloff in Summer 2021 and joined his Patreon once he launched it. I really enjoy the insights he provides into how macro changes affect the way sell-side analysts think (and the market at large) think. He provides his information and admits his own biases to allow you to make your own informed decision.
