Learn Robotics Avis 4

Oh man, this robotics class was a game changer! Before joining, robotics felt like a different universe to me. But this course? Totally hands-on, project-based, and super fun. As a woman, sometimes tech spaces can be a tad intimidating, but here, I felt so encouraged and supported. The instructors were awesome, and by the end, I went from newbie to actually feeling ready for real-world projects. If you're even slightly curious about robotics, dive into this class. It's seriously worth it!

Big shoutout to Liz for creating such an incredible program! Truly fun and interactive from start to finish. Thanks for making learning an absolute joy!

Absolutely awesome experience with Liz from Learn Robotics. I’m a mechanical engineer looking to get into automated manufacturing and came across Liz’s articles.

You can tell she has a wealth of robotics experience and I really enjoyed the “critical path” approach.

Liz spent multiple calls walking me through my plan and helping me find the right skills and roles to go after. Highly recommend working with her.

She makes it super straight forward to get what you want in your robotics career.

I loved the content , but the support on lower tier courses like the engineering bundle, receives poor support. I mean it’s in the gutter it shows no care for the student who is going through the course and has a question. I’m left in the dark or I can go on stack exchange or YouTube to figure it out myself. Which is possible but a company that is all about learning leaving their students with no support , no grading of assignments it’s abysmal. The only support is email that's it no video calls or quick chats.

Here’s the thing I really love the content , I’m learning a lot. This is the first time I feel I’m actually building something from scratch and upping my confidence on how to use programming to control microcontrollers. But if support is non existent it makes it less worth it because a lot of this stuff you’ll find on YouTube

You can buy most of the materials and components yourself like I have and you can build this on your own. The thing that would separate them would having someone to look over the code or content even for a just 10 mins. Wouldn’t cost them anything

So as much as I’m disappointed in the lack of support , I’m going to finish the capstone projects in the engineering bundle and put into my enginneering portfolio, because support aside content is sublime. And will help my career.

Hope they fix this support issue and give the course some designated guides to help on video call , 10 mins. It would really help make the student experience better.

Liz at Learn Robotics is fantastic! Our daughter completed Level One last year and loved it so much she asked me to register her for Level Two. As a female planning to become an engineer, our daughter was extremely encouraged by Liz in her work. She also learned so much and it provided the spark for her to pursue engineering as a career.
