Purchased a black walnut floating shelf to use as a fireplace mantel between two built in bookcases. It was cut to exact measures to fit perfectly in the space. The routed bracket system made installation a breeze.

It was so easy to work with urban legacy! We were able to choose our exact color and it was easy to input our exact measurements. We communicated via email to make sure it would work with our wall. I’m so happy with the way they look and they are sturdy!

I requested custom mounting and got standard spacing. Also requested unfinished but received finished shelves which I now have to strip, stain and then refinish. Basically the only thing correct was the type of wood and length. Disappointing.

Great product and excellent service. I have used Urban Legacy 3 different times in the past 3-4 for my projects around my home. They are quick to respond to questions and get the product to you in a timely manner. I have ordered three different sets of floating shelves and a fireplace mantel. I will building a new home within the next year and definitely be using their product in my next build.

From the order to final product it was a fantastic experience. These shelves are the real deal. If you’re looking for rustic, farmhouse, reclaimed, etc this is what you want. The raw steel brackets installed from underneath to keep that floating look are a perfect compliment to the shelves
