Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care - St Albans Avis 29

I've taken my autistic daughter for eye tests in Leightons St.Albans for several years and am always extremely impressed with their approach and customer service. Both Indy and Preena talk calmly with her in a way that helps her anxiety, explaining (with not too many words!) what will be most helpful for her. Other staff members are also extremely welcoming and helpful. We always leave smiling!

I went to Leightons, St Albans, for a free hearing check and thought it would just be a cursory check. I have some problems with one ear and have had many doctor and hospital appointments regarding this but my session with Janos Tomics at Leightons was by far the best I have ever experienced. Janos was extremely knowledgeable and professional and explained my situation thoroughly and clearly. He carried out a thorough hearing test, explained the results and advised on the next steps I should take. There was no hard sell, just a good intention for me as his patient. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leightons and Janos.

Had a dry eye assessment after getting nowhere with the nhs regarding my severe dry eye problem. They were able to ascertain what the problem was within a few minutes, and explained why the nhs treatments were making me miles worse. I was given the correct treatment for the condition I have, and within hours I was feeling so much better, after a year of distress and hell. The physician who treated me was incredible, and I am so grateful! Today, I am able to wear makeup, and cope well. I’m not blinking hard anymore, and not rubbing my eyes raw. This was the best money I have ever spent! I would advise anyone who is struggling and getting nowhere, to seek help from Leightons

I have used Leightons for years now & have never been disappointed, their quality of care & attention to detail & accuracy of my prescription is what keeps me coming back. I have had to go elsewhere for things like prescription safety glasses & these other so called leading opticians have struggled to get my prescription right through their own eye tests. This particular visit was textbook Leighton's - efficient & careful.

Have you ever considered replacing the St Albans receptionist.
I phoned this morning to make an appointment as no-one ever replied my online request.
The receptionist is of the most unpleasant, unprofessional rude type.
I had no choice but stop the conversation and look somewhere somewhere else.
Sack the receptionist - whoever she is, she aren't doing Leightons a favour.

Was extremely impressed by the professionalism of Atish throughout my ear exam and hearing aid consultation. He was very personable too. Leightons certainly appear to always set a high bar where levels of skill and quality customer service are concerned and this visit was another example of this.
