Lewis & Co Moving Group Ltd is a removals and property clearance business based in Wrexham, serving North Wales, Chester, Cheshire, Shropshire and the Wirral. We also carry out longer-distance moves across the UK. We help homeowners, families and businesses with house removals, office relocations, packing, furniture dismantling and reassembly, and furniture collection and delivery. Whether you're moving nearby or further afield, we take time to understand what's involved and plan the job around your needs. Moving home can be stressful. Our founder, Matt Lewis, spent 16 years in teaching, and that experience shapes how we work: listening carefully, explaining things clearly and helping people feel at ease. We protect furniture and floors, handle belongings with care and keep customers informed throughout their move. We have never charged key delay fees, so waiting for your new home's keys doesn't bring an extra hourly bill. Through Lewis & Co Property Clearances, part of Lewis & Co Moving Group Ltd, we also undertake probate, bereavement, landlord and general property clearances, including garages, lofts, sheds and offices. We understand that some clearances follow difficult circumstances and approach each job with patience and respect. Where suitable, we find opportunities to reuse or donate furniture and household items locally. We take waste to authorised facilities and hold an Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence. Contact us to discuss your move or clearance and arrange a quotation.

Matt and his team were fantastic!
Matt and his team were fantastic, I really couldn't have asked for better.
Access from my old property was very difficult, but they managed without complaint. All furniture was properly wrapped, loose items boxed, and incredible care was taken to ensure everything was well protected.
Due to a delay, I didn't arrive at the new property until over an hour after them, but on my arrival, all boxes were placed in the relevant rooms and they even made the lounge look comfortable.
I really cannot recommend them enough, absolutely brilliant!

Hi Claire,
Thank you for such a wonderful review. I remember your move from Wrexham to Lincoln well, and I’m so pleased we could make what could have been a stressful day a much easier one. Access at the old property certainly kept us on our toes, but making sure everything was carefully wrapped, protected and in the right room at the other end was all part of the job.
It made me smile reading that we’d even made the lounge look comfortable before you arrived! Thank you for putting your trust in us, and I hope you’re settling in well in Lincoln.

Fantastic service from start to finish!
We used Lewis & Co Moving Group Ltd for our recent move from Saighton to Rowton and honestly couldn't fault them. From the moment we got in touch with Matt, the whole experience was smooth and professional.
The team arrived on time, ready to get stuck in. They carefully dismantled all our furniture and reassembled everything perfectly at the new house — it saved us so much time and stress. We also borrowed moving boxes from them which made the whole packing process much easier.
What really stood out was how willing they were to go the extra mile. When it turned out a wardrobe wouldn't fit in our new place, they took it away without any fuss — exactly the kind of flexibility you hope for on a hectic moving day.
Nothing was rushed, everything arrived safely, and the whole team were friendly and professional throughout. Moving house is stressful enough, but Lewis & Co genuinely took the pressure off. We'd have no hesitation recommending them to anyone. First-class service!

Couldn’t have asked for a better service
Matt and his team at Lewis & Co Moving Group were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They were professional, friendly and really reassuring throughout the whole move, which made what could have been a stressful day feel so much calmer. They treated both me and all of my belongings with genuine care and respect, and nothing ever felt rushed or careless.
I was especially impressed that they came fully prepared with their own plastic storage boxes, which made packing and transporting everything much easier and more secure. Every item was handled carefully and arrived exactly as it left.
They moved me all the way from Liverpool to St Ives near Cambridge and the whole journey was smooth and well organised. You can tell they take real pride in their work and customer experience. I genuinely felt looked after the entire time.
When I move again, I will not hesitate to get back in touch with Matt and his team. I would confidently recommend Lewis & Co Moving Group to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful and efficient removals company.

I was going to hire a van and move myself. I am so glad I didn't and got these guys to do it. Everything was wrapped and protected. Delivered and installed them back in every room we wanted. They even put my corner sofas back together and connected my washing machine and they were already here so not really their responsibility. They then emptied a container I had full of stuff and brought that here too. Made one of the most stressful things in life a breeze. Like my son said who also used them 'best money ever spent'. Can not recommend them highly enough. If you are trying to decide what to do with your removal just go for it and use these guys. You 100% will not regret it. Thanks Matt, Wayne & Heather.

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start! From the moment they arrived, Matt and Wayne got straight to work loading everything into the van. They carefully dismantled all the furniture that needed taking apart too.
Matt was so friendly right from our very first meeting, and the whole team offered an amazing service – they even lent us packing boxes, which was such a huge help. Even though we were only moving a short distance away, I honestly don’t think we could have managed it at all without them. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic!
Matt, Kev and Liam helped us move back in February after the move being delayed by a month. The guys were brilliant first time around when the move was delayed they went above and beyond to help myself and my family, they worked extra and didn’t leave until the job was done. The in between period, Matt checked in on us to make sure we were ok, that’s not just service that’s a genuine understanding of looking after people, we weren’t just customers to him and that’s what makes a difference. When the second date came through, Matt and the team worked around their existing appointments to fit us in. Professional and like I said genuine. We really couldn’t have done it without them, thank you guys! I would 100% recommend every time.

Your move had its uncertainties, and we know how stressful delays in a chain can be, so we were just glad we could support you through it and be there when the date finally came through.
What you said about feeling looked after, not just treated as customers, really means a lot because that is exactly how we want people to feel.
We all appreciated helping you and your family, and we’re so pleased we could make a difficult situation easier.
Thank you for your trust, your kindness, and your recommendation — reviews like this mean more than you probably realise.

Above and Beyond!
We can't thank Matt and his team enough for our recent house move. From our first meeting with Matt to plan the move we knew we were in safe hands. Matt obviously prides himself on doing his best for his clients and nothing is too much trouble. The plastic storage boxes he provided were a real help with packing. On the day of the move furniture was securely wrapped and great care taken with the removal of items and carpets were protected. Bed frames were taken apart as needed and rebuilt on arrival. Nothing was rushed! Time didn't feature! Matt and his team worked tirelessly until the job was done and we were settled in our new home. If you are looking for a removal company that go the extra mile, then look no further. You won't be disappointed.

Matt and his team were completely professional throughout, and were also great fun to work with. They are completely honest and straightforward. We agreed a price before the huge hike in diesel and I had to argue with them so that they would take, in all fairness, some extra money for the job. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Moving Llanidloes to Lincolnshire
Matt and his team moved us this week, from mid-Wales to South Lincolnshire. Not a move we were looking forward to, in part because of the distances to cover. We anticipated it being a two day job, with us camping out in the new house overnight. But Lewis & Co did it all in the one day, making our lives MUCH easier!
It was a really long day, but the team were cheerful, polite and kind throughout...even when I forgot to bring milk, so no mugs of tea at the new house 😳
Everything was put together for us at the new property, beds, wardrobes etc. We had no breakages or damage...bonus! They also coped admirably with our bolshy dogs and were careful to keep doors closed so there were no canine escapes/escapades.
We've no hesitation whatsoever recommending Matt and his team. Just remember to get the milk!

The team all said how lovely you were (and we’ll forgive the missing milk this time 😄).
We always aim to leave people fully settled — beds up, furniture in place, everything where it should be — so it’s great to hear that came across, and even better that everything arrived safely.
Wishing you all the very best in your new home — and a well-stocked fridge next time!

A Move Handled with Care, Kindness, and Complete Peace of Mind
We recently used Lewis & Co Moving Group after coming across them on Facebook, and from the very beginning there was a sense that we would be in safe hands. That instinct proved more than true.
From start to finish, they were professional, calm, and genuinely kind. They handled our belongings with great care, taking the time to dismantle and reassemble items thoughtfully at our new home. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
What stood out just as much as their skill was their presence. Friendly, gentle, and considerate throughout the day, they brought a sense of ease to what can often be a stressful experience, even taking moments to make a fuss of our dog between trips.
We couldn’t be happier with how smoothly everything went. It felt less like a service and more like being supported through a transition.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Lewis & Co Moving Group and will absolutely be suggesting them to friends and family in the future.
